  • Good glue gun
Great product.

  • Cost comparison
I have been using the critter siphon feed guns for years. It's not that they are bad, it's just that they are so expensive. I buy 10 at a time and at a price of about $50 it is just too costly...these guns I've now been using for a year and find them of equal quality to the other siphon feed guns on the market. The only negative for us is that the air connection from the back would work better if it came down, not straight back but for the great price we can afford a 90° elbow. ... show more

  • Used for Glazing Pottery
I am a studio potter and have been spray glazing my larger vases for past decade. During that time I've gone through many different spray guns, various models priced moderately around $50 to $800 auto spray gun. Having used all those spray guns, I have found that siphon style offered by this model works best for my glazes. The other siphon sprayer you can find on Amazon is the Critter sprayer. I've gone through two Critter glaze guns and both had issues with rust and the trigger stop functioning after a while. Another plus here is that the chamber is made of metal, which is much harder to shatter than the mason jars used with critter guns. It should also be noted that the critter sprayer has hiked up their price to $70 versus this model at $18. After two years in use this spray gun is functioning well with zero problems. For this price, very highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great bang for your buck sprayer!!!
This is the first time I've used a latex paint sprayer and didn't want to spend a lot of money on one in case it didn't work out. I was impressed. Painted some outdoor wooden chairs and first had to lay down latex primer and then the latex finish coat. The coverage and ease of application exceeded my expectations. I did six chairs in three different colors so between the primer and color coats I was having to clean the gun and nozzles frequently, but cleanup was a breeze. The key is getting the paint thinned properly and keeping the nozzles clean and don't forget to clean out the vent hole on the cap. I can definitely recommend this spray gun for home DIY projects. ... show more

  • Amazing value
This sprayer far exceeded my expectations! Seriously, the value is amazing. If you’ve ever used a spray gun and didn’t filter the paint beforehand you are in for a great surprise. The filter is awesome and gets the air bubbles and chunks out. Be sure to immediately clean the filter once done. I learned that setting the filter to the side while still having paint in it equals it not filtering the next go round (due to the paint drying). The little brush for the nozzle is perfect, I thought I had a brush small enough but I didn’t. The one that came with it is super handy! The only drawback I have found is that the little metal rivets on the top inner can aren’t comfortable when you are cleaning it out but that is hardly worth mentioning. ... show more

  • Bought for unique reasons
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to tinker with making haze for outdoor laser light show. This little sprayer fogged up my garage so much it set off the smoke detector. In the video I am spraying a mist of mineral oil. Great value for my use. A haze machine can cost 200-thousands of dollars. ... show more

  • Questionable for use with contact cement, spray pattern erratic.
Bought this specifically for use with contact cement, as gun cleanup is a pain when you only use cement occasionally, Firstly, it had a normal spray gun connecter, worked fine with a regulator, but gun felt unbalanced, so used the included air fitting and a remote regulator. Supplied air fitting bottomed out and leaked, found one with a tighter thread that would seal. Set at 60psi triggered, used professional quality spray grade contact cement, fresh can, found spray pattern really inconsistent, kind of cone shaped as you would expect, but with erratic globs and blobs. Pre-coated a headliner panel, played with pressure and spray distance, no change. Too afraid to use it on fabric, too much chance of globs soaking through to the face side. Went to clean to return, cup was hard to clean - too deep to reach bottom with fingers, mouth not wide enough to get your hand in - poor design. Had a similar cun years ago that used paper cups and a clip, with a nylon dip tube - you just threw away the cup, and a new nylon tube was a close as local store, at ten cents a foot. Better deal, IMHO. I did not try on paint, but would suspect spray pattern would preclude use for anything except maybe staining a fence. It does use some air, no problems for me (3 phase compressor) but would probably be an issue with a diaphragm compressor. ... show more
