  • THIS THING IS A ROCK!
I am flabbergasted on how strong this piece of rubber is.. it’s unbelievable.. it’s not sticky, it’s not soft, it’s not nothing but a rubber puck that hold your end pin like a solid rock on all surfaces! Yes it costs more, but it’s the only one you will ever need! Take my word for it and buy it. It’s the best one in the world, and I have tried many! Buy this now! ... show more

  • A must-have for cellists!
Gone are the days of wrestling with an unwieldy end-pin strap, or sliding rock-stop. I have been using this thing for close to three years. My endpin has punctured through the plastic guard and has made a little black-hole at the center, but has not yet poked through the bottom! Very high quality solution for cellos with sharp end-pins that perform in quality venues who care about the stage. ... show more

  • Not your ordinary endpin holder.
Throughout the years I have tried every endpin holder available. Up to now, I believed the only reliable one are those that hook to a chair(brand omitted on purpose) I am very impressed with the Dycem! I purchased it as a backup, but now is the only one I use.

  • Super duper cello rock stop
Bought this rock stop because my son's cello teacher recommended it. She said she's had hers for 20 years and it still works great. And it's true. This is the only rock stop you'll ever need. It does not budge from the floor. My only complaint is that the one we received looked used. Several dents on top and not very clean. But we needed it for an upcoming recital, so we didn't return it. That's more of the seller's fault than the product itself. ... show more

  • Fantastic stop, compact as well
Highly recommend this stop. It sticks to our hardwood floor very well. If it starts to slip it's usually because of some dust that just needs to be wiped off.

  • Finally, a cello stop that actually works!!
Okay I have been playing cello for 40+ years (I started at age nine).. As a kid I used old belts to hold my cello up, then I moved to straps, and other devices to provide solid footing for my endpin. I used the nice straps for years but every now and then I would encounter a chair where the legs were too wide to accommodate the ring that slips around the chair leg. And, for years rock stops slid on me as I am a stronger player. The Black Hole is contructed of a polymer that grabs just about any surface. I just finished a bunch Xmas gigs and from marble, to tile to wood, this product did not disappoint. It was stable and solid throughout all performances. When you are finished, you simply rinse off the dirt and floor dust with warm water and the materail retains its tacky, gripping characteristics. Awesome. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Best Donut! 🙂
Stickiest donut rock stop in existence. I’ve used them since the 1990s!

  • Really sticks to floor!
This is the best endpin holder with regard to sticking to the floor, and it is small and lightweight! I rated it 4 stars because the hole is too small to hold a rubber tipped endpin well. I took the rubber tip off my cello's endpin, and I put a sticky-backed foam circle in the holder's center because I didn't want my cello's endpin to slide around the plastic center of the holder, and I didn't want any rattling of my cello's endpin with the plastic center. Works great now, and cello doesn't slide anywhere. ... show more
