I love the style of this crate, and the wood top and back are much more attractive in my family room than a 100% wire crate. The pad is lightweight enough to wash. But…as someone who has had about ten similar crates over the past twenty years, I have to say the latches are tricky and difficult to open and close. This is not only a great value for your money, but it is a lovely design that looks good in our bedroom and puppy can be close by. Easy to assemble and feels sturdy enough for my small-medium dogs. Clean look as well. 4 star cuz one of the locks was crooked and I needed to bend it with some pliers but otherwise everything came as it should.

Not sure about durability. I get my puppy in 2 weeks and she will be 8 weeks so she should accept her safe space.

We really like the quality and sturdiness of this crate. When looking for one to buy, I read some reviews saying that it was a little flimsy. That wasn't the case for me. I use the top as my side table and have a bunch of books and stuff on top of it, so far all good. I also like that it's fairly easy to assemble (although I recommend getting someone's help depending on the size you buy). The double gates are also great. The only downside is that the cushion it brings it's really thin and flimsy. We switched it for a sturdier and thicker one and it's perfect. Will update if something happens. We'll made crate, appears durable. Easy assembly. Measurements are a bit off as I had to change for a bigger one that arrived damaged. Amazon made sure that it was promptly exchanged. Pups have plenty of room now. Very happy with product.
