So today, I finally have everything I need to put my new office together. I out the desk together yesterday - breeze. After work, I back there to put the together the chair together and I unpack it. Chair looks good and padding is actually a little beefier than expected but I haven't sat on it. I was initially upset because the instructions had pics of screws etc but no bags. I emailed the maker (website wasn't finished or operation) and they advised the screws are mounted inside the chair. I saw screws in it when I unpacked it but it looked like heavy duty screws to support 400lb. Well, I finally got it together today: all screws were present, no stripped holes and again it was simple to assemble. I am not sure it'll support my weight but we'll see. I'll update in a month or so. From what I can see from others, the leg you attach as the 5th leg is the one that breaks. I'll advise. Also, please remember that if the shock mount gives out, you can buy others here on Amazon. It's the base I'm concerned about. So until I experience issue, I gave it 4 starts because they should have put the info about the screws in the instructions and not assume every person would know that. It cost me 2 weeks letting it sit plus it sat already until I could get to it Customer service responded immediately and was nice about it. But I didnt need to ask for any screws etc. That was awesome. Right now I'll say it's a good buy and I'd recommend it. ... show more

The chair looks great but it leans forward like a rocking chair and its very uncomfortable. The forward motion hurts my back. I've tried tightening up the bolts but it still leans forward.

Bought this chair after looking at Staples and other office furniture stores. This chair is a MUCH better value. Very comfortable and works well. The recline works fine. Adjustable armrests. Adjustable height. Great lumbar and back support. I set it up myself. Instructions were straightforward, just look carefully at the diagrams. Took me about 30 min to set up. The base detaches so you can actually transport it. Its a good price for what you get. If you treat it well, it should last for a long time. ... show more

    • I'm really disappointed in this chair
The seat is not as thick as the picture would suggest so it's not very comfortable to sit on. I've assembled it and sat it in for a few hours and it's just not what I expected at all. I'm pretty surprised by the positive reviews, which is what led me to buy this in the first place.

Love the look of the chair. It's comfortable, but takes getting used to. My only complaints are: the base of chair seat is very flat and felt like I could slip out in the beginning. The chair needs more padding and the seat needs the proper "v" shape to support legs more and make you fit more into the chair. I also admit for people with wide shoulders, it takes some getting used to. I'm 6' tall and broad shoulders, and it is very much a hugging chair. Not uncomfortable, but takes time to get used to when you haven't experienced it before. The arms, although sturdy, they do wiggle a bit due to the intentional rotation of them, but they aren't as solid/stationary as they could be. Overall: I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I am still very happy with the purchase. Coming from a very over padded ergonomic chair, it has taken some time to get used to, but still feel it is great value for the money. I do think that this is not a 6-8hr a day chair, more like 2-4 max, but still a great value. ... show more
