Just be aware if you have siding where the bottom of the siding sticks out past the top of the next level of siding. the lamp will be angled outward. This is Still do able to install.... but looks funny. YOU might want to cut out the siding so lamp is flush against the wall.

    • Beautiful and affordable
These are lite weight and fairly easy to install. Biggest warning is the mounting bracket, when installed, needs to sit flush with the wall. If the mounting bracket sits inside the the surface to snug up to junction box, the mounting bolts will not be long enough to catch. I used a few washers behind the bracket to raise it out flush with the wall and that did the trick. Lights look great, especially with the recommended bulbs! Still recommend! ... show more

We bought 3 of these to replace old, outdated bronze lights for our newly purchased home. We couldn't be happier with the look and function. They are modern and elegant and offer enough brightness to be effective without looking like a homing beacon. Most importantly, for someone who has never installed a light before, they couldn't have been easier to install. The instructions aren't very helpful for the wiring portion, but YouTube fixed that easily. The day/night sensor works perfectly. All in all, I can't recommend these lights enough! ... show more

    • Look Classy - Just add Glass to the Bottom
These look fantastic, were simple to install, and the dusk to dawn feature works well. As others have noted, the lights don't always turn on at the exact moment, since the light hits them at different times. This is true for us too, although they are both on the same side of the house on either side of our garage. However, I have only noticed this happen once and it didn't last for very long. This product would be even better if it had glass in the bottom so bugs would stay out, and if they weren't slightly dented/scratched upon arrival. We went to Lowe's glass cutting section, where they sell picture frame size pieces of glass for very inexpensive, and cut it for free. We brought one light fixture with us to measure it (it is not a perfect square!!). This was a perfect solution. No bugs come in from the bottom! The small imperfections from slight damage to the product can only be seen when installing them. However, a few days after using these, one of the lights has bugs in it, despite our glass bottoms. I can see a very small gap in the frame of one of our lights due to a small dent, which is allowing tiny bugs to get it. We will seal it up with some clear hot glue and our problem will be solved! If you are willing to find some glass for the bottom, then these lights will work great for you! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful light, bought it specially for the sensor. Word of advice this is not motion sensored. It only reads the sun setting. Just installed yesterday as part of my exterior renovation, it came on immediately as it became dusk. Very beautiful

Love this Frank Loyd Wright style Dusk to Dawn Sensor Outdoor Wall Sconce that I purchased six of to replace the old carriage style outdoor wall sconce that did not work with the house for a number of reasons. First the dusk to dawn sensor on the old sconces where on the bottom of the fixture so the ones in the conners under the eaves of the house did not turn off unless it wass clear blue sky, and in the afternoon. Next is just the style of the house if you look at the the pictures these new lamps look so much like they go with the house. ... show more

I like the look and they are easy to install. I had to use my own screws and wire nuts, but no issue. I did have one with a loose screw on the socket. Very weird. And the finish will come off easily if you have to use a tool on the nuts, just be careful. Another thing i found is that the wires all need to be below the center bar. Otherwise there isn't room for the photocell. ... show more
