  • Favorite keyboard by far
Color: Cherry MX Silent Red
Everything about the Ducky One 2 Mini RGB makes me smile. The 60% layout and slim profile are cool, but it's the ability to customize that sets it apart. Macros, LED profiles, shortcuts, and even setting the color of individual keys, you can do it all. The Cherry MX Silent Red keys are so quiet that even pesky anti-click coworkers in an open office won't be bothered, but you still get the good feels of top-shelf mechanical switches. Ergonomically-speaking I love to type on it, the feedback and touch quality of the keys is perfect. I use it professionally every day, and it's my go-to keyboard from now on. Ducky also includes a key-puller tool and several cool alternate key caps in different colors, designs, etc. HOWEVER -- I am unable to give 5 stars because of an issue when using the keyboard with a Mac. Anytime the OS looks for system updates, the keyboard "freezes" (all the LEDs turn off, except those in a single random row which stay on, and you can't type anymore). It's easily fixed by unplugging the USB-C cable and plugging back in, but depending on what you're doing, it can happen a handful of times in a day. Very minor issue, but gets old real quick. Updating the firmware to the latest Ducky offers did not correct the issue. AFAIK, this is strictly a macOS problem, Windows users should be fine. If/when the problem is corrected, I'd be happy to update my review to 5 stars. TL;DR -- tons of functionality packed in a small size, LEDs are bright and functional, Cherry MX Silent Red keys are quiet enough for grumpy neighbors but still feel amazing to type on, comes with extras. Would definitely recommend. Minor but annoying issue when using keyboard with macOS (as of Oct 2019). UPDATE (Oct '20) -- Finally found a fix for this, the official Ducky firmware still doesn't handle it afaik. To fix: 1. Press and hold Fn + Alt + P for 3 seconds, until just the number keys and A-F row are lit up 2. Enter "05AC024F" on the keyboard 3. Unplug the USB-C cable, and plug it back in. 4. Enjoy! As promised, I'm upgrading my review to 5 stars. I don't care that Ducky doesn't have a fix yet, just that there is one :) Cheers ... show more

  • Great keyboard, but spend a little extra on the Mecha Mini (metal version of this keyboard)
Color: Cherry MX Silent Red
I returned this item immediately once I found out there was a version of this keyboard that had a metal body. It's a lot sturdier. It also costs about $20.00 more. As for the One 2 Mini, it's a very decent keyboard. Just be sure that the type of Cherry MX switches you want are indeed the ones you want. I picked Cherry MX Silent Red because I've been gaming on the classic MX Reds for years. You're either going to love the sound dampening of Silent Reds or hate them. I spent a good 6 months using them on another keyboard and finally gave up. The 'clack' sound that you get when gaming and typing with classic Cherry MX Reds are satisfying. Silent Reds feel mushy and sometimes, it feels like you're having to press harder to actuate the keys than with MX Reds. All in all, Ducky is a fantastic keyboard manufacturer. If you're going to go with a 60% Ducky keyboard, I'd invest that extra money for the Mecha Mini which has better build quality. ... show more

  • If you get this for gaming you will have to get your fingers used to it because it is really small

  • My new favorite keyboard of ALL time
Color: Cherry MX Brown
I just have three words for this, I LOVE IT! It’s amazing for portability thanks to its size and it sounds and feels amazing. The RGB lights are perfectly backlit and looks much more appealing and stunning compared to razer’s. It comes with multiple extra keys for customization, making it the perfect keyboard for me. ... show more

  • Bad Key Chatter
Color: Cherry MX Brown
Keys will be 'pressed' or held even after being released creating a large amount of key chatter. This was supposed to be fixed in firmware update 2 but I'm still having this issue. Wish I could refund.

  • Great space saver!
Great keyboard. Responsive keyboard with a nice feel to it. It's exactly what I wanted as its size opens up more desk space for a larger mouse pad and movement area. You do need top make sure it's what you want. Different feel from a large keyboard takes getting used to. Also has no arrow keys (knew that when I bought it). ... show more

  • This keyboard is totally worth the money
The keyboard is great for everything! The overall quality is great and the switches are awesome too. The features that also come with it too is also pretty cool. The keyboard comes with PBT keycaps, 11 random color keycaps that you have no idea which color you are going to get (I got the orange ones), a keycap puller, and your choice of which cherry switches you would want. My package did come from mechanicalkeyboards.com which is the main supplier of the Ducky One 2 Mini. The switches that I have on my keyboard are the Cherry MX Red switches and they sure have paid off due to the quality of the switches. The Cherry switches come from a factory in Germany where they have had them tested in many conditions and they were in the production of switches since the 1960s. I would rather take those over switches that are knock offs. Ducky's stabilizers are also the greatest by far as you don't hear any rattle at all and you can feel the bottom out from the switch itself and not the stabilizers hitting the PCB. There is also hardly any wobble on the spacebar, shift keys, enter key and the backspace key. The RGB lighting is also great. Since there is no software for changing the lighting, its all done on the keyboard. They also provide 2 games that you can play on the keyboard which is also pretty cool. For most of everything, you might want to resort to the manual provided or you can find the manual on Google. ... show more
