Features

  • PATENTED DESIGN: Uses leverage to pry boards easily from floor joists. Slides under the board, straddles a single or double joist and lifts the board usually in one piece.
  • DISMANTLE DECKS, DOCKS, AND PALLETS IN SECONDS: The ultimate demolition tool and pallet buster.
  • NO MATCH: An old fashion heavy duty pry bar, nail puller or crowbar are no match for the Duckbill Deck Wrecker.
  • EASY TO USE: Work from standing position, not on your knees.
  • VERSATILE: Head rotates to allow working close to structure.

  • Worth every penny!
Our 16 X 16 deck is 20 years old and showed it. Lots of punky boards and algae everywhere. I was dreading tearing up the deck boards. I googled crow bars and the Deck Wrecker showed up. I thought it seemed a little pricey but if it can save our old backs ( I'm 70, wife is 74) I decided to try it. Am I glad I did. 16' boards so I cut them in thirds with a circular saw then put the DW to work. 30 minutes done! The joists and ledger were all like new so installed the composite over two days. Ran out of hidden fasteners with 2 boards to go so we'll finish tomorrow. Very impressed! ... show more

  • Solid
Solid. Handle a durable material and grippy. Often those are mutually exclusive on long handle tools. Not glued properly, though, so spins. VERY well executed tool, and the narrow profile at the tips is, I am finding, an essential aspect of the design. Solid 3/8”? Bar stock, full nice welds, good epoxy? powder coat, walks the line of solid tool, but not too heavy. Just right! Lots of other good details that matter… ... show more

  • Very helpful tool
Dear other potential buyers… I would recommend this product. The price is high but, worth the money required to save yourself time while removing old deck boards. My old deck I used this product on had 3” screws down inside 2” x 6” x 12’ treated lumber decking boards. After removing as many rusted screws as possible with my impact driver…. Then I turned to this tool to pull the boards with the remaining screws off the deck. Definitely was still a lot of work but this tool made the task easy. (Compared to trying to use a pry bar and hammer) In summary: 1) worth the money 2) well made product 3) product works as designed 4) time saver 5) handle can be replaced, if you ever break it ... show more

  • well worth the money
I am a diy furniture maker and enjoy recycling pallet wood. I finally got tires of hammering and jig sawing the pallets apart and purchased this unit. I love it, it makes life far easier. also it can be used for decks and roofs etc. Vet heavy duty and well built with a comfortable handle.

  • Worth it
By far the best bar for stripping a deck. Should have bought it a long time ago. Cuts the job by about 1/3 of how long it takes without it, and way easier on the body.
