I have a small flower bed in front of my house that faces west, can be a little tricky to be able to water it every day, and sometimes up to twice a day on hotter days, and I wanted to start off with a basic drip irrigation kit. Thanks to Amazon Vine, I was able to grab this one as it seemed like it would be just enough for my experiment, and I can easily run the line from the front faucet I normally run a hose from. Unfortunately, I jumped the gun in ordering and we still have another month and a half or so left until the last frost date, so our water is still shut off in order to be able to run a lengthy test on it. Although, I was able to play around with it on one of our faucets in the house and everything is pretty self explanatory and worked as expected. In the package I received : -2: 1/4" tubing, 100 ft ea -1: Y-shaped 2-way faucet connector (which I'll make good use of since I have a small planter on our patio and doorstep to water with a hose. -2: 1/4" tubing quick connector -1:3/4" threaded faucet connector -30: adjustable grippers -20: atomizing nozzle -1 roll of teflon tape -30 Barbed tees -20 Flat Tee pipe connectors -10 Barbed couplings - 2 End closures -29 C-shape support stakes Granted, this is definitely a basic starting point, for all of the bits I need for now and may have a little bit extra in order to make use of it in my backyard garden. If anything, I believe this will help me save a good bit of time in being able to open the front valve to let the emitters run, while I tend to our garden in the backyard, and I can easily shut it off when I'm done. If I decide to go on vacation this summer, I eventually would like to be able to add an automatic timer to this system and make it mostly a set it and forget it type of situation for the season. ... show more
