We just rebuilt our backyard shed and added another four feet of space to it. We needed and outside light and an interior light which needed different operating options. This product connected to the same solar panel and allowed us the setup different operating options. The inside light needed to turn on when we entered to shed and the outside light needed to turn on after sundown. Once we read through the instructions and using the remote control it took only a few minutes to setup the operations of both lights. Each light can be setup to be on for different amount of time (25seconds to 45 seconds). The motion sensor works great there is no need to use a remote to turn them on or off. I did the installation and my contractor I use for work around the house was impressed with the look and operation of the lights. This is a great product for a low price!!!! The only down side is the instruction manual type is too small for my old eyes. I had to use a flashlight to illuminate the text in order to read the text. I've had tehm install for over a week now and they work and look great. ... show more

This is an easy to install and use light. Very bright! I use it in a small shed but it could light up a much larger space. The solar seems to work, even on a gray day. I love that the motion sensor is sensitive. When I open the door to the shed the light comes right on. I've had many motion sensor lights that you had to wave your arm off to get to come on, but not this one. Comes with a remote control that you need to keep track of, but I just hung it on the wall so it couldn't get misplaced. We love this little light! We have two. Currently, they are being used to light both inside and outside a shed that has no electricity. Here's what I love about them: 1. Super easy to set up. Follow the instructions and let the battery charge all day having turned the light on manually.. 2. Easy to program using the remote. I figured out that I had to use the remote to turn the light off, wait a few seconds, turn the light back on using the remote, and then select the mode, time and brightness of the light. Boom! Worked perfectly! 3. The motion sensor of both lights works as expected. They stay on with ongoing movement, and if they go out, a wave of a hand is all it takes to get them turned on again. 4. The ability to adjust the brightness of the lights. 5. Long length of the power cord from the solar panel to the light. I can't address the battery life, since these two are specifically used only as short term lighting, but we have another one coming that will be used to provide more continuous light. I'll update this review when we know more. I would have given it 5 stars if the instructions had been just a bit more clear. I can't help but think the lack of clarity is why some of the one star reviews were received since I was starting to think they were accurate as I tried to get the remote to work with the unit. ... show more

I put one under a covered patio area and the other inside a 8x15 storage building with no electricity. The motion sensor function is great and it lights up the whole inside. Great solution for buildings or patio areas without power. The solar charging works like a champ!!

Lights up an entire area of my barn entrance as soon as you enter the motion area. Very bright and have had no issues with it charging or staying on all night (well, not ALL night - I have it on sensor mode so it stays on for about 30 seconds or so after it's activated) but it continues to function throughout the entire night. Am planning on lining my 1/4 mile driveway with this through the woods. I think the remote control is a bit "stupid" - I don't use it at all and really see no need for one, but I supposed some people will like this feature. A little pricey but I am impressed with its performance and lumens enough that I'm willing to spend the money to get more of these. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. In June, I purchased one after a month and a half it would not operate tried everything changed out batteries and could not control it with the remote. Also used it as a manual. It would come on and shut down the company replaced it, which was nice of them for your charge. Now the second one is acting in a similar way very disappointed. Have contacted the company for another replacement and they have not responded. ... show more

These lights are very good and work well. I took one star off as having a single solar panel with two lights means the cord to one is too short. I understand there's no extension cable, and might be due to issues with cable length. It would be good to get a reference to the connectors in any case.
