We're using this set on our screen porch which is long and narrow. The proportions of the set are perfect for that space. I ordered the driftwood grey which goes well with the flooring. I am very satisfied with the furniture but what has impressed me most is the customer service. The chairs were delivered first and I didn't know what had happend to the table. I contacted DTY and received a prompt response. They tracked the table and let me know it was on another UPS truck. I contacted DTY a 2nd time because we damaged a screw during assembly and I couldn't find the right length screw in a retail hardware. Our old teak patio furniture had seen better days and after several snapped folding chairs we decided it was time for a new patio set. This patio set for the price cannot be beat. We have a small concrete patio that it fit perfectly on. The finish looks great and after the chairs are comfortable and very sturdy. I purchased four of these rather than getting a large outdoor table for our patio. We can put them together to make a long table for 10 or a large square for 8. The chairs are easy to move around and stack when not in use. The tables are pretty sturdy, but the chairs are really not that sturdy. For occasional use, they will work fine. The tables are not quite big enough for four people with a full dining set. Two of my chairs had cracks in the base causing loose screws but DTY offered to send replacement seats quickly. ... show more

After several table and chair sets being eaten by the salt air I opted for wood, sustainable eucalyptus. Solid, heavy, weathers, and won’t rust on us! We are hoping we don’t have to buy any more table sets!

*One year later, table and chairs are peeling, cracking, and squeaking. They feel like they’re going to fall apart. The table is beautiful, solid, easy to put together. The chairs are wide and the arms are especially great for seniors who need the extra help in standing. Sturdy is a good word.
