I've got an old shark vacuum, and the original replacement batteries were so much that I was considering just getting a new vacuum cleaner. Today's vacuums have amazing new tech, and part of me wants to get one that self-cleans the rollers, but the other part of me is like, "Who's paying for that shenanigans today?" Then I found this, and it was the perfect chance to take. It's off-brand, but it fits, and dare I say, the vacuum seems.... peppier. It's got a kind of power to it that the old battery doesn't have even fully charged. I'm pretty sure this is just my excitement coloring my view, but I don't care. This is becoming my primary battery and the original one is becoming the backup.     • Great replacement for OEM battery
I ordered this because my batteries on my 5-year old stick vac was not holding a charge if left inside the vacuum. This battery required a little extra push to get it to "click" in to the battery slot, but once it was in, this thing worked like a dream. I was a little hesitant at first, because my vacuum did not sound quite the same, but I plugged the battery in to ensure it was fully charged, and after that, it has worked as well as my original batteries did when they were brand new. I ran the vacuum throughout the whole first floor of my house, and it never ran the battery dead. I am very happy with this replacement, especially since a replacement OEM battery is no longer available that I could find on Shark's website. ... show more

    • Nice OEM replacement battery with a few minor issues
Battery works well, although I did have a few minor issues: 1. Despite charging it overnight, it only registered as having a single bar of charge the first time I used it. After fully depleting it, and re-charging it using the OEM adapter, this issue seems to be rectified, and it now registers all 3 bars when I insert it in the vacuum cleaner. 2, It requires some additional force to fully locate it in the vacuum cleaner. 3. I occasionally had to press the On button multiple times to get the vacuum cleaner to start. This is never an issue with the OEM battery, but has happened with another 3rd party battery that I've tried. Despite these minor issues, this battery is still significantly cheaper than a replacement OEM battery and functions almost as well. It doesn't last quite as long though. One improvement over the OEM battery was that it didn't get as hot, so I was able to charge it immediately after use - I usually need to wait for the OOEM battery to cool down for a while before I can charge it. ... show more

This is a good battery, lasts as well as my original ones when new and about the same as the other better after market ones I bought. I tried another after market brand that was garbage and didn’t last at all, but this is a good one and just as good as the original. It does have a benefit that the vacuum will turn on again after the battery goes off, where the original was dead till you charge it again, great when you just need a little more time to finish. I run it on high suction all the time and vacuumed my entire downstairs, the stars, and two rooms upstairs on one charge. ... show more

    • Charge doesn't last as long as our well-used, 6-year-old original Shark XBAT200 batteries
I got this as a spare for our 6 year-old Shark Duo Clean vacuum. The original two batteries are getting old, so it seemed like this might be a step up for us, given it's a 4000 mAh battery vs our 2450 mAh originals. Unfortunately, the performance of the DSANKE battery did not meet our expectations. The battery fit both the charger and the vacuum just fine. We fully charged it and began vacuuming. It didn't take long for the battery indicator to drop to 2 bars. Shortly after it dropped to one bar, the vacuum stopped. The battery lasted about 12 minutes total mostly in bare floor mode. This is nowhere near the "up to 3X the run time than Shark 25.2V battery" and is actually less than what we get from our old Shark batteries. ... show more

This is a compatible replacement for my original battery but with an mAh that 1.6x greater. The fit into the battery slot of the vacuum is tighter which necessitates a strong push. Removal is harder and I often use a screw draw at the back to leverage it out. Having a serial number on the battery suggests the manufacturer can track its production process and has quality control. ... show more

After installing it and trying to charge it stopped after a few seconds. I removed it and tried a 2nd time and it has worked ever since. Problem most likely from the 1st battery completely dieing. BUT: Beware of cheap batteries. When a battery is listed for $30 and the OEM version is $128.00 you know it is not going to last. I learned this after buying several for things like my Roomba, and other appliances where the original lasted just over 3 years and the cheap version lasted 3 months. ... show more

    • Not quite as good as OEM
This battery fits my Shark vacuum. It doesn't last as long as the OEM battery. Also you have to push hard to get it to seat properly in the vacuum. It is adequate and beats buying an expensive OEM version. I use this battery as a back up in the event my OEM batteries are drained.
