The DSANKE 80V 3.5Ah battery should have 40% more capacity than the Greenworks OEM 2.5Ah battery that came with my blower. So before ever using DSANKE battery, I fully charged it, tested run time on the full charge at full speed (without turbo), then timed the recharge of the depleted battery and compared that to the OEM Greenworks 2.5Ah battery. Here are the results. First, the Greenworks (Model BAB729) 2.5Ah battery: Run time: 18 min, 11 sec. Battery Cost per Run Time Minute: $9.87 Charge time: 49 min, 48 sec. Weight: 3.72 lb. Warranty: 4 years (8 years thru Costco) Next, the DSANKE (Model GBA80200) 3.5Ah battery: Run time: 15 min, 50 sec. Battery Cost per Run Time Minute: $6.32 Charge time: 26 min, 11 sec. Weight: 4.03 lb. Warranty: 2 years Conclusion: On a battery cost (per run time minute) the DSANKE is a considerably better value if it will last as long as the Greenworks. The 2 and half minute run differential is not a big deal, especially since the DSANKE charges much quicker. But, it is also .3lb heavier. And while the run time difference is not that great, the heavier weight of the DSANKE and supposed 40% greater capacity, it would suggest that it would be longer run time, not shorter. Bottom line: I don't have the ability to measure Ah capacity to determine actual Ah, so I don't know if the OEM 2.5Ah was conservative or if the DSANKE 3.5Ah was overly generous. My grandparents have a lot of Greenworks tools at our summer family vacation home, so additional GreenWorks-compatible batteries are always welcomed. Currently, during the winter season, we aren't using any tools at the summer vacation house to meaningfully test this battery. However, I had the opportunity to check if it is functional and fits the Greenworks Pro 80V Brushless Cordless Axial Leaf Blower. It charges without any issues in the charger and fits and works to power up the leaf blower during testing. The real test will be its longevity because I've noticed that some replacement batteries from other brands work well initially but then suddenly fail. Therefore, I will definitely update my review if this one doesn't last down the road (I expect it should last at least a year). For now, it seems like a good deal considering its overall quality versus price!" ... show more

    • Almost as good as the OEM
I've had my GreenWorks snowblower for sometime now and the battery it came with wasn't enough to fully clear my driveway. I'd get to about 70% and it would die out and if it was a lot of snow that was as high or higher then the opening of the snowblower it would die faster. After the most recent snow we had, I decided to get this battery. It looks almost exactly the same as the OEM minus the green accents on it. The battery charges up fine, fan of the charger comes right on. I read the other reviews about the charger not stopping once the battery is fully charged. The thing I noticed is that once the battery did fully charge, the fan would turn on for a few seconds then stop, then turn on a few seconds and stop....this happened about 3-4 times and then stopped and the charging lights went off. I'm not sure if it's still charging or if it was actually shut off and done. so knowing this....I'll make sure i'm in the vicinity of the battery keeping an eye on it while it charges so there is no fire issue or anything. The capacity of this battery seems to be close if not the same as my OEM so I can finally finish my driveway and still have some battery power left over now. ... show more

    • Cheaper Than Greenworks Brand
This battery is about half the price of the genuine Greenworks 4Ah battery. It is a little lower in its power rating (that is, 3.5 Ah which determines how long it will last before needing re-charging). The lower cost is the only reason why you would buy this over the genuine brand. I have a number of the genuine batteries of 2Ah. They have worked well for a long time, but they don't give more than about 15 minutes of blower time. This battery gives much more time and is more convenient to use. I don't know how long it will last and will update my review if it fails too soon. ... show more
