I have long, curly hair that is sometimes dry and frizzy. This detangler works amazingly well, even with very light application. Even though it might seem expensive for a fairly small bottle, it goes a long way. Strongly recommend.

Firstly, the Noir scent is not unpleasant in the least and dissipates quickly. Coconut is too juvenile smelling while Noir is more refined. Secondly, this is not the miracle detangler other reviewers make it out to be. If your hair immediately develops knots after brushing smooth and detangling brushes don’t do anything for you, this won’t help either. I brushed one side of my head smooth, did the other half, came back to the first half and…knots. I probably spritzed my hair 30 times to make sure I had enough product laid down. It did help with lubricating tangles and doesn’t smell like a children’s product, so I’ll keep it in my repertoire. ... show more

I've used this product for about a year since first receiving it in a subscription box. I suffered a bit from sticker shock but if a product works exactly as advertised then the price is more often than not worth it. This still cost a few dollars more than my last purchase, so I may shop around a little more next time to see if I can find a better price. This spray doesn't need to be thickly applied in order to work effectively, just a few quick gentle sprays will do and it makes combing through thick wet hair an absolute breeze. It's also great as a blowout refresher - a few quick sprays on dry hair followed by a comb through and blowout for a few minutes on medium makes your hair look and feel as if you've just freshly washed and styled it - an excellent time saver! I had to drop a few stars for scent as this bottle didn't have the fresh, pleasant scent I've come to expect from Dry Bar. It smelled somewhat like chemicals instead of the usual pretty scent - maybe it was exposed to adverse conditions? It still performed as promised in all other areas but when it comes time to purchase it again, I may have to shop in person so that I may personally check the scent before buying. ... show more
