When I opened the box and took the comforter out of its packing I immediately folded it back up and placed it back in the packing to be returned. The reason I was sending this comforter back was when I unfolded it is flat as if it were a top sheet instead of a puff-up comforter which is what I was expecting. When I logged into my Amazon account to print out a return label I read the other reviews showing it takes seven days for the comforter to puff out once it is removed from the box and packing. I laid it out on a bed for a few days then placed it in the dryer to puff it up more. It is now what I was hoping for all puff up full. The value of what I paid compared to what I got is the best part. The only negative comment is the fabric used is noisy when you sleep under it, it's as though it is made of paper it is a crinkle sound. Love this comforter and you will to.. ... show more

This is a weighty comforter. It will do well on cold Winter nights. The material seems tough and durable. I got an oversized King which is nice and long on the bed, but very difficult to find a cover for. Finally found the right size on "Quince." Just love it so far!

My hubby and I love this comforter. It’s cool, yet keeps you warm somehow. It also has a good weight to it. I have bought a weighted blanket before, trying to see if it helps with my sleeping, but they were too heavy. Took a good amount of time in my dryer to fluff it up after opening the vacuum seal. But the feathers don’t poke you! Very comfy, although it does hold body heat in so in hotter climates it may need a lighter option.

This is my first down comforter. I’ve had this for a about a month. So far I’m happy with it. I’ve found 2 pieces of down so far & this is without having a duvet cover on it yet. It is a little warm for my husband & I & we basically don’t have it on us much at night. I wish I could find a lighter weight one from this company to use over the summer months since I know I’m happy with the quality of this one. I’m going to order down comforters for the other 2 bedrooms as I redo them in next couple of months. The Queen is a decent size at 90x90 & reaches to my bed skirt. That is a huge deal breaker for me if they are too short & sheets are visible. Fabric seems durable & has a nice feel. I like that it’s cotton - I avoid microfiber at all costs. The choices out there are so overwhelming but I’m happy I chose this one. ... show more

I like the computer because it has square blocks so the down doesn't slide around. It has little tabs on the top bottom inside to be able to get it into a duvet much easier.

The reviews for this item are all over the map, since there are so many versions. I bought the king-size "down-filled". It is king size, and does contain down, but it is quite obviously a feather/down mix. This can easily be checked by pinching the duvet between your fingers and rubbing back and forth. The shafts of the feathers are much harder than down so you can feel them. I would guess this is a 60/40 down/feather mix? Update - as per the attached tag, it is 80% feathers. The seller has claimed (in an answered question) that this was a mistake on the tag, but you can feel the feather shafts in the comforter. Still, it's warm, and the feathers have remained inside Now, feathers are light and insulating as well, and in a duvet this size your won't notice a huge difference like you might on a down jacket. The downside (see what I did there?) to feathers is that they tend to escape as the shafts can poke though the fabric. And once out, they don't want to go back. That said, this duvet arrived with no feather escapees, and the outer fabric seems quite resistant to the puncture. It's also not too noisy - not silken quiet, but not at all objectionable.
