  • I’m happy with the deadeye. It feels very high quality and premium
Color: Elite Green
Pro: Works well Native support in Golf+ Not made of Chineseium (unlike other amazon clubs I’ve tried ) Adjustable weights
and carbon fiber finish High build quality Cons: Pressing the buttons on the club is hard to get used to at first More expensive than other clubs I did a lot of research before buying a deadeye. Other clubs were cheaper and I did buy a yezro first but it felt like swinging a pipe not golfing. I returned it and bought this instead. It’s an absolute game changer. The weight of the club feels great and very similar to a golf club. I like having the option of changing the club weights though I honestly don’t use them because I like the club feeling as lightweight as possible. Setup in game is really simple. You just select the deadeye preset in game. The 3d printed cup feels high quality. I was at first concerned about hitting it on things but after a few swings I realized it’d be pretty hard to hit the 3d printed cup with where it’s located on the shaft. The controller grip is really nice and they have their logo all over it. And all over the thumbscrews. They really like their logo lol. In summation this is a really good club and I don’t see myself buying another one any time soon. ... show more

  • Brilliant addition for Golf+
Color: Meta Quest 3 and Pro
I don't write many reviews on Amazon. It's actually been years. But I felt the need to write my first in quite a while after receiving this DeadEyeVR attachment tonight - the base unit for Quest 3, not the Pro or Elite - after seeing quite a few reviews slagging it for its quality (or lack thereof). Sure, you can see the controller part of the mount has been 3D printed... but who cares?! It works. And it works great, at least the one I got sent. The grip is absolutely top-notch and when I put on my Quest 3 headset and fire up Golf+ I have zero idea I'm technically holding a fake club. There's even an extra added weight attachment provided that I haven't even felt any need or desire to use because the default weight of the grip/shaft seems perfect to me. I guess if you're looking to replicate the weight of clubs Jack Nicklaus used when he was a teenager, yo, have at it. If you have any passing interest in Golf+ and don't want to settle for the ghost limb feeling of playing with just a controller, I can't see going wrong with this purchase, I know I didn't. I'm hooked. And yes, my terrible slice in real life has been replicated with the DriVR and Golf+ but thankfully it seems I'm making slow progress in correcting that. Can't wait to see how my experience in game translates to the range. ADDENDUM: So I added the weight that came with the club and cannot deny... it feels awesome. I still slice every @#$%& shot, but I feel great swinging. ... show more

  • Mixed Feelings, high quality but 3D printed end.
Color: Meta Quest, Meta Quest 2 and Rift S
Overview: Overall I'm happy with the grip, it definitely helps with game immersion and feel, although I wish I would have known the working end was 3D printed Pro: Works well Native support in Golf+ Definitely feels like it's made by a small domestic company. Includes a wall mount, if you're into that kind of thing. Overall build quality is high for the manufacturing process Cons: The working end and wall mount are 3D printed in PLA. While there's noticable weight, it definitely feels light. In-depth: I did a lot of comparison before committing to this shaft. I chose this one because even though it's more expensive, it seemed higher quality. Overall I feel like the folks behind this product do actually care about producing a quality product. Setup was easy as it's a simple setting in Golf+. Even with the added weight it feels light, and to a certain extent, there's no correcting for the polar moment of inertia compared to a real club. It won't help you feel a swing, or fix a swing, but it will definitely make you think anybody position, especially at address and back swing. My main issue is being an engineer and having a 3D printer, I had seriously contemplated printing my own mount and sticking it to a thrift store shaft. I decided against it because like many engineers, I'm lazy. I saw there was always a deadeye setting, and figured it would be fine. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the product isn't the usual AliExpress quality I have come to expect from Amazon lately, but disappointed to find out the end is 3D printed. It smells like PLA, so no leaving in a hot car. The print quality is overall good, which is a relief albeit there was a tiny bit of stringing for the wall mount. My main concerns with 3D printing are the ability for prints to take tension across layers and the forces on the connection to the shaft. With the amount of positive reviews I suppose this is a non-issue, but I with it was injection molded or at least SLA. At least there's solice in that I feel like I'm supporting a local business. And if it breaks, I'll just print another one. ... show more

  • Fantastic Product!
Color: Elite Green
The driver has quickly become my go-to way to play some golf at the end of the day. The grip feels really nice. It feels quite good in my hands. I particularly love the sleek green coloring, which adds a stylish touch to the club. While it comes with adjustable weights, I find myself preferring just the natural weight of the Quest controller but I can see why people would add extra weights. The length of the club is perfect, as it feels really realistic. Overall, the driver is a fantastic addition to my Golf+ setup. ... show more
