This was easy to install , if you can’t screw in a light bulb, this may not be the project for you. Instead if securing it with the Pop Rivets , I used 1/4-20 bolts with lock nuts.

My older ezgo cart wasn’t charging well. I only needed the charger side part of this, but the charging connection is now secure and alls well with the cart. When you take it apart to wire it up everything falls apart so be careful. There were no instructions with it, but if you pay attention when taking the old one off and reconnect the same way you should do okay. ... show more

    • Perfect fit but taking away 1 star...
I expected this to have the reed switch in the receptacle end and the third wire spring contact in the plug end but when I opened each end I discovered those parts had to be transferred over from the old parts. Luckily, in my case, my old parts were in good enough shape to reuse. When one buys a complete plug and receptacle, one expects you will get 100% of the plug and receptacle. I still give it 4 stars because I suspect the reed switch and the 3rd wire spring contact would normally be reusable. If I had needed those, it would have been a 1 star review though LOL. Everything that was provided was pretty much identical the the original parts so overall I am happy and my cart will charge properly once again. ... show more

Installed both parts in about 5 minutes. Cart has a new solid connection and charging well. good product. Fits just like the original plug.

been looking for something to replace my plug and reciever which were broke. they ALL say 36V only. i ordered this for my 72v bad boy cart (made by ez go and discontinued). the wires were still intact on my cart, so i just swapped out the plastic parts. it was an exact fit and charges like normal again! if you are handy you will figure it out. ... show more

Better to add few cents and get the full kit with the hardware. No connectors or screws
