  • Good quality
Style: 18''
My nephew was comfortable in the ne we chair. Seems like a very high quality chair and it was easy to travel with it.

  • Pretty useful chair
Style: 16 Seat Width,Desk Arms
This product has worked beautifully on my daughters! Strong, firm and she seems super comfortable. She still short on the leg rest and head rest so I had to temed them, but it may give it time for her to grow and still use the chair

  • Worth the cost!
Style: 20 Seat Width,Full Arms
I purchased this for my father, and he seems pleased with it. It's easy for him to move himself, and it gives a smooth ride.

  • The perfect chair for us.
Style: 18''
My husband loves his new wheelchair. It's everything we hoped it would be. The seat is nice and wide so he doesn't feel cramped and has room for even the largest jacket or blanket when he needs them. The Recline feature helps a lot because he can't sit upright on his own and he doesn't feel like he's going to tumble out and he can rest his head back. I've also been able to take him to the theater again. The combination of recliner, adjustable foot rests and extended head rest allow him to enjoy things he hasn't been able to in comfort. He's had many compliments on his chair. For me, the chair has made transporting him much easier. The higher wheel locks are much more convenient to reach from the back without having to maneuver around the chair in tighter spaces like elevators. The chair collapses easily and still fits in the trunk of my car. I would definitely recommend this chair to anyone who has difficulty sitting up straight or holding their head up for extended periods. ... show more

  • No Help From Company
Style: 20 Seat Width,Full Arms
A really nice wheelchair but the foot rests are too long for my wife. Chatted with a rep at Drive corporate, and he said he would collaborate with the team and get back to me. Of course he never did. I’m using leg rests from an old transport chair I have.

  • The brakes.
Style: 18''
Nice chair but for one thing that is a serious issue. When my mom sits in this chair, her arms extend out past the chair arms and rest on top of the parking brake handles. If she lifts herself up on her arms to change positions she bears down on the brake handles releasing the brakes. I tried to reposition the handles down to clear her arms but then the brakes can't be set. I'm sure that she's not the only one to have her arms out past the chair arms. We haven't thought much about this problem until now. What if we are on a slope and she drops something. I stop, set brakes and then turn around to retrieve the item. She pushes down to shift positions, releases the brakes and off she goes. This needs to be addressed now. ... show more

  • Wheelchair received was not what was ordered, and was damaged and inoperable.
Style: 18 Seat Width,Desk Arms
I received this product today in the time stated by Amazon on my order acknowledgement and it appears to be a sturdy product equivalent to another brand used in the hospital where my wife was hospitalized with a major stroke. However, the packaging in which the wheelchair was shipped was mangled and held together by massivee amounts of packaging tape. Also, one of the controls with which the reclining back feature is controlled was broken off and, as a result, requires that I return the item. What really irritates me, however, is that I ordered the "all aluminum" model (and paid a premium price) and the item that I received was a steel model that weighs somewhat more than advertised. To my mind this is unacceptable and I am returning the item for refund. Meanwhile, my wife has been released from the hospital and I do not have the wheelchair I need (and was expecting) to transport my wife to future doctors' appointments and physical therapy, etc. ... show more

  • All in all, an excellent chair.
Style: 18''
I purchased this recently for my father after using a similar reclining wheelchair while he was staying at a rehab facility. He is currently bed bound, and has to transferred between the chair and bed with an electric lift and sling. He is semi-reclined when lifted in the sling and the reclining back of this chair allows us to place him in the chair without any risk of the chair tipping or him sliding out. It is also much more comfortable allowing him to stay out of bed for more of the day. Dad is 5'11" and 190 lbs, so I bought the 20" wide chair. Their house has 32" interior doors and a 90 degree turn from the hallway into their bedroom, it takes some careful maneuvering to make the turn so the chair is aligned with the door opening, it squeezes through with about 3/4 an inch on either side. I've only come across two things I dislike about the chair. The first is the ease of use of the reclining function. It's actually too easy to lower the seat back in my opinion. I'd suggest some sort of push button lock be added to the release levers so someone who's mistook them for brakes doesn't accidentally drop the back when they're not expecting it. Mom did that at the rehab facility and nearly dumped Dad out of the chair. The second thing issue is that the lower leg/foot supports stop short of lowering to fully vertical. They're adjustable from fully horizontal down to about 15 degrees from vertical. That plus a few degrees of back recline makes the chair long and requires extra care be taken to avoid running his toes into things while maneuvering him about. ... show more
