Helpful addition to water my container garden that sits on a patio table. I saw reviews that said they only received 10 drips, but I did receive 15 as stated. I am using a planter was the watering vessel, have watered 3 times and have not had to fill it back up. The solar charger works well.

Solar panel obviously needs some amount of sunlight at a good portion of the day. How much sunlight is needed depends on how long the pump stays on. The timing is pretty decent. It keeps time even after power is out thanks to the battery.

I like that this solar unit can technically be used indoors (windowsill or grow light required) or outdoors. The pump however isn't all that strong so I'm doubtful you could adequately water the advertised 15 plants with this (unless small succulents that don't require much water). Not only is the pump not that strong, but the drip line is unique to this product as it's smaller than the typical 1/4" drip line (and therefore not compatible with most other systems). A smaller diameter line means less water to your plants. This was likely necessary for the smaller, less powerful pump (due to it being solar/battery operated). It does have an in-line filter before the pump which is nice to prevent contaminants from shortening the lifespan of the pump or clogging the smaller than usual drip lines. For a small setup, this could work just fine. However, if you're a serious grower or gardener, you'll want a larger pump or something compatible with other drip systems so you can easily add on or modify your needs later. ... show more
