  • Saves money on spray paint and good for quick jobs
Even if this clogs up after a couple of jobs, I will still be ahead compared to buying spray paint. I got this to repaint wrought iron lawn furniture that's always a hassle to paint because of the grids. The last time I painted, it took ages because I kept running out of spray paint and had to run back and forth to store and would lose interest. Also I don't have to deal with disposing spray paint cans. This is not particularly easy to clean but I haven't cleaned other spray guns so I don't have a comparison but it wasn't bad. I only used it once so I have no idea if I cleaned it correctly. You have to make sure you have the paint thinned properly and start out with a very thin base coat before you build up. I did have some drips but I brushed them out. You have to spray away from the item until it comes out properly. I wouldn't use this to paint a wall or outside a house but it was fine for lawn furniture. I'll tackle my wood fence next when it warms up. ... show more

  • Bang for your Buck.
It works perfectly. I wouldn't recommend using this for interior painting unless you have proper ventilation. So far no problems and I have painted a few things around the house. As long as you clean it after using it should last for a while.🤞

  • Basic sprayer for small jobs. Here’s what to know.
This is a basic sprayer for small jobs. Here’s what I liked/didn’t like and what to know if you are considering buying one. First, it is not for large projects. It handles smaller jobs fine, for example a dresser, shelves, a staircase rail, a birdhouse etc. The paint reservoir is small, so you will be refilling it fairly often. If you are using water-based paint you may not need to thin it at all; with other, thicker paints you will want to use thinner or you risk the sprayer spattering paint instead of releasing a fine spray. The variety of tips included is a nice bonus. The smaller sizes worked best for me. The larger ones released too much paint and felt messy. As for grip, it is pretty comfortable; I have medium width but long hands. Clean up was not too bad but I recommend you do it right after use or you may end up with a clogged sprayer, but this goes for any sprayer, not just this one. Note that this also comes with some basic gloves, small funnel and a cleaning brush, making it a good kit for a first-time user who doesn’t want to buy everything separately. The take away: If you want to try out a paint sprayer, this is a good place to start. ... show more

  • Great sprayer for small jobs
I got this for small jobs/diy projects around the house and it has worked great so far. I clean it well as soon as I am done and have had no issues.

  • Good spray painter for smaller jobs.
Got this to do some painting of smaller areas of the house and some properties. I've used more powerful ones before, so I figured this would be similar just less power. It's works his fine for painting smaller rooms or if you want to paint furniture or cabinets or something similar. The spray nozzles and the type of spray are pretty easy to get used to. I tested it on cardboard before I did it on the actual surface. The spray itself is even and comes out smoothly. But it will depend on the thickness of the paint you get. I used water based paint only, and it was the satin. I didn't have to add anything to thin out the paint but I suspect that having other, thicker paints will require a thinner. The container doesn't hold a ton of paint so if you have a large job, you'll be refilling often. But for the price this is a great value and easy to use so worth the extra refilling needed. Clean up is easy as long as you grab some thinner and clean it right after you're done. I followed the directions given and it worked fine. Overall it's a solid painter and if you want to get it for jobs to make paint look smoother/even rather than a brush or roller, get it for sure. ... show more

  • Positive First Impressions
I got this sprayer for a number of Spring projects and since the cold weather has hit Minnesota, I can only go off of my first impressions. I have worked with home construction and outdoor projects for over thirty years, so I am familiar with tools like this. Based on what I see so far, I think that at this price point you get a pretty good little sprayer. As long as you don't push it beyond its capabilities or expect a professional grade sprayer you should be happy with the results. It comes with a set of different nozzle sizes that I have found in most of these types of sprayers work ok but with only marginal differences. The pump delivers quite a bit of power, and you can feel that it will be able to propel paint or stain quite well. I only did some initial testing with some liquid with similar properties to paint and it did a pretty good job. I feel that based on my first impressions that I can recommend it to anyone considering a purchase. If when Spring comes and I start to use it I realize that there are issues, I will be sure to come back and update my review. ... show more

  • Spatters
Either we have totally forgotten how to use a sprayer, or this one is defective. No matter the paint type, or how much you thin it, this sprayer spatters. We tried all the different nozzles, and googled every solution we could think of, but could not get this one to work properly. So disappointed!
