I purchased on sale, got a great deal, it has good padding, and a great fit. Shared with others, still a good deal at regular price. I'll be looking to then to add to my collection.

  • Amazing quality for the price, but it does have some critical flaws and came a little broken
Color: Crosshair Helmet
What can I say, these are mass-produced cosplay helmets and not custom 3D printed from etsy artists. I got these on a 50% off sale which is totally worth the price for the quality. With the minor issues they have, I can't justify the full price on these bad boys ($69 vs $139). The paint job is phenomenal. There are some areas where it's messy but it's really nothing big and it kind of gives it character. They are pretty heavy and sturdy. I'm a woman, and rather small so these are understandably HUGE on me, so I will need extra padding. Although I plan to have these more as display than cosplay. Echo's is by far the most accurate in terms of quality. Some minor glue problems but it's not a big deal. The visor is completely see through which is great. Maybe it's my fault I didn't read all of the information on each of the helmet's pages, or all of the reviews in detail. One would EXPECT that you can see out the entire visor. This is not the case for Hunter and Crosshair, and I don't think casting over most of the visor for the sake of "sturdiness" is a good excuse because they didn't do that with echo and his is fine. It's quite a dumba** decision to cast over most of the eyes on crosshair and hunter's. Hunter's is two little eye holes, and thankfully there is mesh so you can breathe out of it. Two little tiny eyeholes? I can barely see. Crosshair's is blind in the right eye, as it is casted over the right eye. Now, I see that the listing does actually say that so partially my fault. It doesn't defeat the joy of wearing it, but why? There's absolutely NO reason to do this. I don't think it would be less study if you didn't cast over the right eye. In addition, why did they use a MATTE black paint for the crosshair eye? It's like...shiny visor and then this matte black paint. It's noticeable and weird. The tactile scope on Crosshair's visor is attached with a screw and it has a sturdy slide that stops it from going backwards, or down all the way. It keeps it in place if you want it up or down. Crosshair's snout also came with about 3 hairline fractures. They concern me a little, but pressing on it really does nothing to them and I'm not entirely bothered to exchange it. This is resin casted? Does resin flake into little shiny shards? It looks like fiberglass to me, and it kind of sounds like fiberglass. I have little shiny shards on my fingers when I hold Crosshair and Hunter's. Concerning. So yeah, you could spend $200-300 to get a custom made painted/unpainted 3D scaled helmet on etsy. I'll do this for Tech, and I WOULD have done this for the boys too but y'know these are still amazing quality and I can't describe the amount of happiness I get seeing them displayed together. I feel like they're actually here. I encourage people to always support independent artists when you're able to. With a sale, I was able to get 3 for the price of one and a half helmets. That's pretty insane. ... show more
