The exterior look for this drawer is really beautiful, the wood outer makes it look a lot more elegant than it actually is considering it's a fabric dresser. The fabric dresser exterior is a bit loose though, so the wood ripples rather than looking more clean and taut. That being said, the wood slate for the dresser is nice and stable wood so it looks very clean and can withstand a huge weight. I really like how much stuff you can put in this dresser. I would've gave it a 5, but one of those bars in the photo did not fit correctly in the holes where the screws go. I had to bend it to fit. I don't know if you can tell from the photo but it's not straight. Other than that, I'm happy with the dresser.

This dresser suits my needs perfectly. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the holes for the bracer bars were not drilled properly. The top holes for the bracer bars are drilled on the back of the frame, and the bottom holes are drilled on the front of the frame. At first I thought that we had installed a bar facing the wrong way, but since all the corner drawer stops are facing the the same way, I realized that the holes were drilled incorrectly. So now, the bar running under the 3 small drawers at the top has 2 holes facing outward. It does take a little away from the nice look of the dresser. Since I can't install the bracer bars, I do have to be careful of the weight put on and in the dresser. There was also one screw hole on the frame that had no threads, but my husband was able to fix that, and install the screw. Despite these shortfalls, this is still a great dresser. It's a good option for small spaces or a child's room. The drawers are well sewn and seem sturdy. The overall look is very pleasing. ... show more

I have 1 hole that is incorrectly drilled, 1 spot that will not screw together and 1 bent bar. I waited what seemed like forever and it isn't usable. Very unsatisfied

Is this heirloom furniture? No. Is it an inexpensive way to get a nice modern looking dresser in your house to hold lightweight things? YES. I found this very straightforward to put together. The instructions were clear, and all the pieces were either well-labeled or easy to distinguish. I had a little trouble attaching the wooden top -- the screwdriver that comes with it is absolutely not sufficient for the task. I thought I was going to have to get out the electric drill, but instead I found that a ratcheting screwdriver worked with some effort and some pulling of the parts of the frame to line them up with the pre-drilled holes. (The ratcheting screwdriver also comes in handy for putting the handles on the drawers -- highly recommend.) But all told it probably took me 30-45 minutes -- the drawers are easy to put together but time consuming. Love that it comes with wall-anchoring straps! Safety first! My only real nitpick is that there are no feet or pads on the bottom. And I'm a little concerned that the fronts of the fabric drawers will easily collect and show dust, but that remains to be seen. ... show more
