I like that this bassinet has a canopy to prevent the cat from snuggling with the baby during the night, but if you order this bassinet go ahead and order the Big Oshi mattress to use instead of the one that comes with it. The problem with the mattress that comes with it, is that there are no fitted sheets that fit it. All the fitted sheets I bought, caused the mattress to buckle and that created gaps on the side leaving me feeling a little uneasy. I went without a fitted sheet for a while and the mattress became stained from spit up and you can only spot clean the mattress. The manufacturer either needs to provide a sturdier mattress or manufacture fitted sheets to fit the provided mattress. The Big Oshi 16x32 mattress fits perfectly and I bought Burt’s Bees fitted sheets to fit that mattress. ... show more

LOVE this! We have two cats and when looking around, this bassinet kept coming up with the net top to keep them out. I especially like keeping them out to avoid leaving their fur in there since they have no interest when the baby is in it. We feel safe letting the cats in our room still because of this very bed. The Halo mattress pad covers do fit, but I’ve started to use king size pillow cases which fit PERFECTLY over the pad and fold in the end. The first setup takes some effort, but it’s obviously because it’s tight to avoid collapse. And I’ve seen a review about the zipper being hard, it does loosen up just enough with use. This is one of the best purchases we have done for our first baby! I am a very picky person when it comes to my kids especially stuff like that bec i care about their health and body posture, i got this bed i believe a month ago and i had to put my baby in it everynight bec we have to stay at my in laws small house until we move to our house, now after i used it it is not flat at all u can see that thr bed in the middle is banding witch is not hood at allllll for my baby’ Back, also i had to buy a new mattress when i for it bec the mattress that it came with it was sooo bad finally the net is soooooo weak it kept falling on my baby’s face and feet ao it is not strong and steady, i would not recommend this bed at allll save ur money and buy a good one even if it is expensive at least safer for ur baby, I would love if they can let me return this bed bec i feel so bad about my baby and i need to get a new bed bec i still need it, but this bed i would like to return it! ... show more

The box got crushed during delivery, but luckily the bassinet itself was okay! It was all wrapped in plastic, but it did have some stains on the canopy and one of the legs was scratched. Not a huge deal, it’s easy enough to clean. I’m going to be using this so our little one can sleep in our room for the first few months and not have to worry about my huge, friendly cat suffocating her. I’m very pleased with how easy it was to put together and the quality of it, especially the canopy. I was worried about my 15 pound cat trying to lay on top of it, but it holds its weight! Speaking of which, the one I received does state it’s good for up to 25 pounds. I DID order a new mattress, against the advice of the manufacturer, because the one that comes with the bassinet is very thin and very soft. Because this will be a nightly sleeper, I ordered a thicker, firmer mattress to go along with it. Honestly, I’m just thrilled I’ll be able to sleep well knowing my cat can’t suffocate her - I’ve been so worried about that since I found out I was pregnant. Edit: after one months use the bassinet started to break more, currently the wire has tore out making it difficult to zip shut. I find the hammock below inconvenient to store things in, but the cat loves it. The only positive is this thing can zip shut so I don’t need to worry about any of my cats getting at baby when I’m not looking, overall I’m disappointed in the quality Out of the box the mesh had a tear in it. I’m not too concerned about it because it’s something I know how to fix so I don’t have to deal with exchanging it. It is upsetting it was damaged at all though. The mattress it comes with is super thin and I don’t like that. The bassinet is a tan/beige color. Not grey like advertised. It was super easy to put together, no tools needed. It slides around easy, which is nice for moving. I don’t like how easy it moves if I were to accidentally bump it with baby inside. The amount of arm strength needed to snap the arms into place, or zip the canopy though can be problematic post birth.     • Defective mattress, unable to be cleaned properly, poor customer service.

My newborn baby had only been sleeping in the bassinet for just 6 weeks and the mattress/pad in the bassinet became crushed and flattened in the middle, so my baby was sleeping against the hard board underneath the mattress with no padding. The edges of the pad are still the proper thickness, but in the middle where her weight was (less than 8 pounds), the mattress is completely flattened to paper-thin. She became very uncomfortable and stopped sleeping in the bassinet until we changed the mattress temporarily to another pad that we had from another product. I contacted the manufacturer and explained that I clearly have a defective pad since it became crushed under the weight of a tiny baby, but they will not replace it because they say it is out of warranty. I only purchased it FOUR MONTHS AGO. They offered to sell me a new pad for $20. Additionally, I could not find sheets that fit this pad, so it needed to be washed every day since babies poop/pee and spit up constantly. Very inconvenient. Wiping it down with a wet cloth was ineffective and I don't know how else to get it clean. ... show more
