This bed looks very nice when put together, I really love it, It seems to be very sturdy I love it converts to a toddler bed. In saying this, the bed had a big gash in the top front rail that I did not notice until the bed was completely put together, and I don't know how I miss it, because it was a pretty big one. Instead of having to take the bed all apart and send it back first to receive another bed, they sent me a new bed and I removed the part from the new box that needed replaced and put the damage one back in the box and sent it back.. I do think Amazon needs to caution their employees to be careful with the boxes and how they are handled and of course, this could be the in route process getting it to customer, that are causing pieces to be damaged .But the same piece of the bed I needed replaced, out of the new bed, had a small place on it as well but was not quiet as noticeable so I did not request another replacement. So I give this a 5 star even though the damaged piece because it may not have be Amazon's fault that it arrived to me like that and they were so understanding about the issue of me not wanting to take the whole bed apart which is usually how they handle returns. This Crib was purchased for my daughter. My Mom and I put it together, everything lined up perfect and it was easy to assemble. The quality of the wood is Excellent and very solid! The size of this crib is GIANT compared to others with changing tables. My daughter has a lot of room to grow (she needs it because she is 4 months and the size of a 9 month old) I would definatly recommend this crib to others and would purchase this crib again! ... show more

My 16 put the crib together with very little help from me (holding parts so he could tighten the screw). The instructions were easy for him to follow. I did notice a few minor marks as other reviews have mentioned but nothing that is noticeable to someone not looking for it. Nice and sturdy.

We were so excited to have the crib arrive! When we started to put the pieces together we noticed that a ton of pieces were scratched badly, and we had another piece that was cracked and glued back together! When we called customer service they tried to give us a hard time since we ordered from AMAZON, but eventually they agreed to send us a few of the pieces that had the most damage. We were told that we would receive the new pieces within the week. After two weeks and still no product we called back and here they sent the pieces to the wrong address. Then, when the materials finally were sent to us we were so excited to FINALLY be able to put the crib together! Unfortunately, the pieces were the wrong color, still had damage, and the one piece that they sent us was not even for our crib! So, needless to say... at 8 months pregnant, we are now forced to not only deal with the hassle of packing up the crib pieces, and sending it back, but also having to find a new crib that can get to us before the birth of our baby! Thanks DREAM ON ME.... you were more like a NIGHTMARE! ... show more

This was a gift. The couple assembled it easily in an hour. Only one small minor flaw in the finish which can be touched up easily. The Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad we ordered in addition to go with the crib changing table does not fit. Not sure if the changer unit is too small or the pad is too large but will cut down the pad to make it fit. Otherwise very happy with the crib and changing table system. ... show more
