  • Great drawing tablet upgrade for an afordable price! Can compair to wacom's performance!
Size: 10.1 inch Color: Blue
Ive been looking to upgrade from my wacom intuos photo, as ive had it since 2018. I was very sceptical to try a different brand outside of wacom, due to them being the leading company in drawing tablets. Currently, I cannot afford a new wacom tablet, especially one that comes with a screen. I've always wanted to get a tablet with a screen if I was going to upgrade, and after looking at SEVERAL different tablets and companies, I tried this one. Needless to say, I am MORE than impressed with this tablet. It has everything I wanted the tablet and software to have (pen settings, pressure sensitivity, custom keys, easy to install drivers and easy to use.) I included photos of the software *see photos* So far I've had 0 complaints about this tablet. The pen tip to cursor has basically 0 lag / difference, and it feels just like drawing on paper. Drawing feels so much easier now that im drawing on an actual screen vs just a pad. The size of the tablet is perfect for my needs, and isnt much larger compared to the intuos. I also included a photo of the size difference of the two. The pen itself feels much less cheap compaired to the intuos pen (ironic I know), and it has a nice heft to it like a wooden pencil would. Yes its still light in compairson to other tablet pens, but to me its perfect. It also comes with a drawing glove!!! It feels great and slides across the tablet easily. *see above for photos In all, I never thought id find a tablet that could match wacom! Yes wacom is still the number one for a reason, but xp pen is the next best option in my opinion. Their performance is outstanding, and at an aforable price!!! Highly reccomend this tablet ❤ ... show more

  • Great upgrade from Wacom tablet!! Make sure to reinstall SAI though.
Size: 11.9 inch Color: Pink
So this was my first screen tablet upgrade I've made since my wacom intous drawing tablet-- definitely worth the upgrade. The screen feels so nice to glide the pen on and the shortcut buttons are such a life saver! HOWEVER! From my experience, this tablet is not working properly in Paint Tool Sai. The tablet cursor would not work in the art application unless I went into the settings and changed the tablemousesimulation section periodically to 1 and that's when the cursor worked. Unfortunately, there's no pen pressure when I do that. Yes I checked the digitizer support section and the percentage is 0, my brush settings are fine, and the coordinate mode is on pen. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and it didn't fix it. Then I checked SAI's website and they said they don't support high DPI monitors, so if ya'll still use SAI vers. 1, please keep that in mind! EDIT: I had to reinstall SAI and things work perfectly fine now! So I am gonna make it 5 stars now! <3 Make sure to reinstall SAI if the pen pressure doesn't work properly with this tablet! I know it'll be a pain but it's definitely worth it. ... show more

  • Decent Pen Display Tablet
Size: 11.9 inch Color: Pink
I'm a graphic designer/Illustrator and I wanted to look for a tablet that is not too steep in price, like the Cintiq, just in case I need one for traveling. I was thinking of the Wacom One but came across this and the pink color kind of sold me. Honestly, I was kind of scared at first since many reviewers stated their issues with Mac. But I didn't find any issues with it and I am using a M1 Chip Macbook Pro. Still, It was a bit confusing to set this all up because the instruction doesn't provide much information. You have to configure your Display reference to have the display pen showed up properly. The next thing is that you gotta get the driver and set up your drawing area and calibrate it to make the Macbook and Tablet syncs properly. There is a slight lag and delay but the sensitivity pressure feels pretty amazing. To sum up, it is a decent tablet for its price point and color selection, but not Wacom Cintiq good. ... show more

  • Amazing
Size: 11.9 inch Color: Pink
Ok so I've used tablets for years but this is my first graphics tablet and honestly I really really love it. I'd been wanting a graphics tablet for years but hadn't been able to afford one until recently, and with my regular tablet starting to break down I decided to take the plunge and get one. I chose this one after looking at quite a few options. I picked it because of the price point, what I'd heard about xp-pens customer service and quality, and also I don't have a large amount of desk space. the tablet's small enough for me while not being so small it'd be difficult to use my programs. Also...it's pink, which is one of my favourite colours. ignore the sticker, I left the protective film on until my screen protector comes in cos wear and tear happens with pretty much every tablet, it's just easier to miss cos with regular tablets there's no screen or light coming through to highlight the scratches, so making sure you have screen protectors and changing them out when you need to is important. I've included pics of the tablet program, and the customization options because that was my major worry. A lot of tablet programs and drivers are clunky, this one though is not. Frankly it's been one of the best ones I've dealt with over the years, super intuitive, and easy to use. It was easy to customize my hotkeys, and I can also save my hotkeys specific to each program which is SO NICE. I work in several different programs and tested this with affinity photo and affinity designer, as well as paint tool sai, Blender, and Krita, and all worked well. Being able to tailor the hotkeys for each program makes workflow a lot smoother. Once I downloaded the driver, installed, and restarted, it didn't take long at all to get started at all. I work on a Windows 10 PC and when you first open it up the tablet mirrors your screen, and you can just get started working from there. However you can also set it up as a second monitor, which is what I did, by going into the display settings and hitting detect. Once it registers the tablet as a second monitor, you can change it from mirror mode to extended, which lets you have your program open on the tablet screen exclusively while freeing up your main monitor for things like internet, or in my case my refs are on my main screen so I can just look up when I draw. It makes life a lot easier. Keep in mind the second monitor setup is still active even though the tablet is turned off, just in case you're wondering where your mouse is. Calibrating was really easy, I haven't had any issue with parallax but I also don't dot the pen straight down vertically. When calibrating I hold the pen the way I would when painting, and tap the crosshairs with the tablet at the angle I'd use to work. It has several automatic screen temperature options for the colours and one of them matches my screen almost perfectly so I didn't have to mess with calibrating the screen colours. However it does have rgb and brightness and contrast sliders for you do do this if you need to, which is super helpful. For the physical connectors I have it plugged in with the HDMI USB cord it came with. I tried using it without plugging the second USB into a plug but there was some flickering because my laptop didn't have enough power to supply the screen consistently, which is normal, and I expected it cos I have a lot of peripherals plugged in to my PC. It's the same reason why you can't use a lot of USB hubs without an external power source or things start to fail. Your computer only has so much wattage to give, so I used the additional included extension cable and plugged it into an actual plug. After that it was fine and theres been no more flickering since. All in all It's been pretty good, we'll see if I need to change my review in time but So far I'm pretty happy with it. ... show more
