  • Not work
does not work. I will make a replacement. Maybe it's just me that got it. If the second one is good, then I will give an assessment again.

  • Good enough for professional use
First I should mention that I make my living as an illustrator. I am a professional artist and illustrator and I do more than 90% of my work on the PC these days, so I heavily rely on having a tablet that gets the job done. I got this tablet to replace my GAOMON PD2200, which is very similar to this tablet. They are virtually identical in many ways, with a few notable exceptions. The screen size, the stand, and the cable configuration are all so similar that you might mistake them for being the same exact tablet. But there are a few differences, and one of them is very important in my opinion. The most important difference is the quick function controls. On the GAOMON tablet, these functions are touch-sensitive buttons that are completely seamless. You can't feel them at all. They are also very sensitive. Because you can't feel them at all, this makes it impossible to use them without looking away from what you are working on to find them. This is an interruption to the creative flow. A small interruption, yes, but even small interruptions can be very disruptive to work flow when they are repeated many times. It makes these buttons much less useful. Worse than that, it makes them a problem; because you can't feel them, it is very easy to accidentally touch them while working. This causes all sorts of problems. By comparison, the VIEKK VK2200 has very nice tactile buttons and dials (the GAOMON model has no dials at all) which make it easy to zoom, scroll, and use the other functions without having to look away from the screen. This makes workflow much, much smoother. Another difference is the screen texture. This model has a slightly better texture, a bit more like paper than the GAOMON. Not that the GAOMON is bad; it's actually quite nice. But the VIEKK is just slightly better in my opinion. Another difference is that this model has two stylus/pens included instead of just one, as well as many replacement nibs. One thing that these two models have in common is the cable arrangement, and this is one area where I wish there was some improvement. To operate this tablet you need three cables; one for power, one for the video display driver, and one USB to operate the drawing tablet. And the cables provided are not very long. I really wish that they could have combined these into one cable somehow, and it would be nice if it could have been twice as long. Even if it needed to be thicker, and even if it needed to branch into three plugs on the end to be plugged into the computer... it's just a mess having three cables. My solution is to bind the three cables together with ties. It's not ideal, but it works. I also needed to add extensions to the USB and video cables in order to position the tablet where I need it. All these extra cables are a pain. That said, the price for this tablet is very good for what you get. It's not a WACOM tablet, but for the name brand you end up paying a LOT without getting much more. The monitor is very good- the colors are great. The tablet is responsive. I have no complaint other than the cables. If you are wanting to get more serious about your illustration, or even if you are a professional who doesn't like throwing away money on a name brand for no real benefit, this is a good middle ground option. You would need to spend a lot more money to see any real improvement in performance. ... show more

  • Excellent
Holy hell, this is an absolute beast of a machine! I've tested maybe half a dozen full featured graphics tablets over the past couple of years, including models from VEIKK, Huion and XP-PEN. Most have been small, iPad-sized 11-13" displays that are perfect for carrying with you through your day, while the largest was the HUION KAMVAS 16 with a glorious 15.6" of real estate. I love the KAMVAS, but it was clear it was too large to be easily portable. The VEIKK VK2200 takes that one step further. The moment I pulled this enormous, heavy monster of a tablet from its box it told me that it doesn't intend to ever leave my apartment. It demanded its own area on my desk and settled itself in for the long haul. This thing is huge, and I can't stop staring at the 21.5" IPS display. That is, of course, the main selling point of this device, and it sells itself very well. This larger screen isn't just a slight step up from, say, a 15.6" screen. It's an entirely different experience. It's like giving up your bicycle for a car. Beyond the size this works pretty much the same as any smaller tablet. Like the smaller models from this brand it comes with a number of function keys on the left bezel, but unlike my VK1200 it also has two quick dials that allow you to easily select various options without having to cycle through endless menus. It's s nice touch, and I'm sure it will streamline my workflow as I get use to the feature. I'm just blown away by this thing. It's not for everyone - it's absolutely not portable - but if you really need a very large display and you have the space to spare I'd enthusiastically recommend it. ... show more

  • Amazing texture on the screen
This tablet is wonderful– it has a paper-like texture that can’t be found on any Ipad or screen protector, and it doesn’t scratch or smudge like many others despite the hours you might spend drawing on this. Additionally, it is huge– this can be a good thing or a bad thing, but if you are serious about digital art, this display is fantastic and allows for much more visibility of the nuances of your art. It isn’t too bright either, so my eyes don’t hurt after a long time which is great for voracious artists, though the settings can be easily adjusted with the intuitive menu. The menu on the side of the screen is also a great size, because you can place your fingers there and they can adjust the controls as you’re drawing. This is really helpful for zooming in and out. Not only that, but the touch is sensitive and the stylist is comfortable and thin. The material of this tablet has a nice matte finish which helps it not smudge or get sweaty which is something that can happen after a lot of use. It also doesn’t overheat, and though I can’t hear a fan, I know one must be working hard because it can stay plugged in the entire time and not transmit too much of that harmful heat. This makes the drawing process much more sustainable. The transferability from tablet to monitor is also great and preserves all the small details of my art. Overall, this is a fantastic tablet for amateur to professional artists. It is great for long-term drawing and work and can be mounted easily on a desk. The wide display makes for easy visibility– I love using this for leisure and I highly recommend it! ... show more

  • Why I think it’s a in between tablet
The size and screen quality is insane but #crashes after 3 hours so the computer port for the tablet is a little weak so maybe that’s the problem? Note that it’s a great tv screen to watch stuff on but pen strokes are pretty basic.
