  • Wow! This is a GREAT value large drawing tablet that just works
I'm not a graphic artist, but do like to doodle once in awhile, or need to mark up documents on my computer. I'm generally proficient with a mouse for computer tasks, but can't draw a thing with it. I just am unable to transfer mouse movements to lines and drawings. Because of this, I've wanted to own a tablet, but as a non-professional, didn't want to spend what the name-brand professional tablets cost. I have tried a few smaller, cheap tablets in the past, but was not impressed with them. Most were flimsy, didn't have a very good pen, and didn't cover a large area. When I found this tablet at an decent price, I assumed it would be like the other cheap tablets I've tried. I did a bit of research on it, and it appears to be the same or similar to a lot of Chinese tablets, some of which had decent reviews. I decided to give it a try, know that Amazon had a good return policy. Needless to say, my expectations weren't very high. When I received this tablet, It was in a nice box with plastic wrap. However, there was no branding on the box. This told me that this tablet was likely sold under different brand names, which is a common practice with inexpensive Chinese goods. As I continued to unbox it, I was starting to be more impressed. It was packaged nicely, and came with a LOT of useful accessories. The tablet itself seems well made. It is all plastic, but seems assembled solidly, and the buttons on it depress with a satisfying click. The tablet has a permanently attached 5' USB A cable which is long enough for most uses. It doesn't need high speed transfer rates, so it works fine in USB 2.0 or 3.0. If you only have micro-USB or USB C, they thoughtfully included two short OTG adapter cables, one for each of these two other plugs. To use it on a PC or Mac, you do need to install a driver which you can get from the website shown on the User Guide. This website is in Chinese, but plugging the URL into an online translator will make it easy to navigate. On the page that has the links to the software and drivers at the top, you can also download a PDF of the users guide. I strongly recommend you do this as the paper guide is WAY too small to read easily (or at all). Windows might discourage you from installing the software as it has not passed Microsoft's certification, but that's not surprising as certification costs a good deal of money. Just click on the "learn more" and continue anyway. I checked the program against multiple anti-virus programs and it is clean. You may want to do the same thing when you download it, as things could change later. The pen doesn't need a battery, but activates when you get within 10mm (around a 3/8") from the surface of the tablet. With the pen, the tablet acts like a giant touchpad for the computer. Since only the pen is detected by the tablet, you can't use your fingers to draw with. However, this also means there's no need for palm rejection or accidental touches. I did some tests using Photoshop, and the tablet works great. The pressure sensitivity works, and even with a 30px wide brush, I can still draw a very thin line if I barely touch the screen. The tablet thoughtfully comes with several very useful accessories. It has a portable folding stand that lets you prop the table up at an angle. Since the nibs do wear out over time, they've included 30 replacement nibs and a pulling tool. They also have a dusting brush, a pen case, and a bag for the stand. I'm not sure what the two-finger gloves are for, but they are in the box. There's also a small stand for the pen and the previously mentioned USB adapter cables. The only negative I could find for this tablet is that I wish the imprinting on the surface was higher contrast. I'll probably create labels for the left buttons so I can know what they are mapped to. I won't use the multimedia touch buttons at the top edge of the tablet, but it's a nice touch. I can highly recommend this table to anyone who wants or needs one and is on a budget. It would make a great present. ... show more

  • It works ok
It works OK, but not great. It sensitivity to capture the pen could be a lot better. It kind of lags behind on movement and can be jerkey. The pressure sensitivity is great though. Easy to use. The buttons are customizable with the software that is embedded in device as storage, so you don't always have to go online and download. Durability wise, it is not the cheapest feeling plastic. I would say it maybe along the lines of plastic feel of low cost laptops. This drawing pad is large. ... show more

  • Fun and function!
I ordered this for my son, but I have been using it as well. Very easy to start, driver install is quick and easy, and we can easily change between our devices. He uses it to draw and has been very pleased with the ease of use and the shortcut keys on the left of the pad. I've used it for writing lesson plans and grading assignments and am just as pleased. Great price point for anyone wanted to start using a drawing pad such as this. ... show more

  • Great Product
This is an amazing product. Its an easy way to draw on a cpu. It does require you to wear "gloves" that covers your bottom 2 fingers. Otherwise your fingers well touch the tablet and move the mouse to an undesired location. You can probably get away with resting your hand on a cloth. You have the drawing options available from whatever program you are using. Power point for example has a "draw" tab that allows you to change the drawing features. The tablet also feels the pressure you are pushing giving you the option to do dynamic drawing. ... show more

  • Takes some getting used to
I've never used a graphics tablet before, so this is a new experience for me. I've used a pen on touch-screen devices, mostly Microsoft Surface devices, and that experience is great. With this, it takes a bit of getting used to, being that you can't look down at the device to see what you are doing - you have to look at the screen while you write on the tablet. It seems to work well enough for me so far, though. I just have to learn the coordination of writing without looking at my hand while I write. ... show more

  • Good value
This is the first of these I have used, and I must say I am very impressed. I did have to install a driver to use it on Windows, and I really only tested it with Photoshop, but it worked great. The sensitivity is perfect. The price is right too! I looked into these awhile ago, and anything that looked decent was 5X as much as this. ... show more
