  • Recommend!! A Great compliment to the How To Train Your Dragon movies
This series is what takes place between the first and second "How to Train Your Dragon" movies. I have watched it numerous times and find it very well done. The numerous characters are a great addition that add many adventures. The twins are hilarious with all sorts of one liners that will keep you entertained. There are actually 2 other series (Riders of Berk and Defenders of Berk) that take place before this one. I highly recommend all of it. ... show more

  • Discs came in a random order in the case
All discs were perfect with no damage. There are 4 discs, 2 for each season. Now my lousy mind didn't consider that the discs can be in random order. I opened the case and the order was: S2, Disc1, S1,D1, S1,D2, S2,D2. Beware of that because it really screwed up the watching order. The only reason I realized was when I noticed that I watched Defenders of Berk and the storline didnt match up. ... show more

  • Great Series for Fans of the Franchise
I've binged watched this show mutiple times on Netflix. I know I'll enjoy having this in my DVD collection when Netflix no loinger has it avaiable to stream. Overall, if you enjoyed the Cartoon Network Riders of Berk and Defenders of Berk, than you will definitely enjoy this. The animation is better and still pretty decent considering the tv show v. movie budget. The stories are very fun and interesting to follow. Good mix of fillers and conflict that will keep you wanting more. The character interactions are also deeper and more interesting since the movies don't go into development for all the secondary character outside of Toothless and Hiccup. Thus this series does a great job filling in those gaps. Any fans of Tuffnut and Ruffnut will also enjoy their quirky quips They are both hilarious in this. As a whole good mix of everything that adds to the How to train your Dragon Universe. I recommend this for any die hard fans of the franchise. ... show more

  • Continuing the Dragon's Hoard. ;)
I've been a big fan of the movies and the cartoon network shows, so I was thrilled when Netflix picked up the baton to continue the stories. I was very happy to see that the episodes were released to DVD so I can always have the series. The themes of the Netflix series have progressed nicely from the earlier Dragons: Riders of Berk and Dragons: Defenders of Berk. This series will help fans of the movies understand how and why Hiccup grows up so much between HTTYD1 and HTTYD2. All the "tv" series give viewers an understanding of the auxiliary characters (Fishlegs, the twins, Snotlout, etc) with stories focusing on their characters. The Netflix series also returns with "tv" series favorites: Heather, Daggur, and Johan. Definitely worth the price. ... show more
