My boyfriend loves this soap and it was a good deal. They all smelt great and they last him awhile. One bar can last him a few months showering at least every other day. He smells fresh after the shower and I think it's helped his skin. He did say he doesn't care for the soaps with exfoliates because it is too scratchy/uncomfortable to use. I don't know which variety pack i got or exactly how long ago it was but I'm down to my last two bars. So it's time to start shopping around again. And i have to say most of these sents are good some are actually amazing and smell even better once you lather them up. However like any good company they miss occasionally. Out of all the bars i tried there was one that stood out as just not good. Like one or two were okay but just not for me. If you get where I'm coming from. But the spearmint basile is just bad. It smells like dead dry leaves that have been rained on and then someone spit their chewed up gum out on. Then, someone came along and scooped it out of a drainage ditch and used it to make a bar of soap. I would buy any of the ten bar variety bundle if they left that bar out cause it's simply unusable. It might as well be a nine pack. Which, even after the discount makes it around 8ish dollars a bar and at that price you might as well pick a 3 or 4 pack that averages out to 8 dollars. So in summary. Mostly good sents you'll definitely find a few you love and others you like, but just throw the 'spearmint basil' bar out. Its simply hot garbage. Honesty i wouldn't even wash my dog with that soap..... if i had one. ... show more

Recently I've been really trying to pay attention to what I put in and on my body. And in that regard, the Squatch brand came highly recommended for the personal hygiene department. At first, when I was making the purchase, I was a little overwhelmed by all the scent choices. As a typical man, I didn't put too much thought into soap before. Soap was soap. So I just picked one of the 5-bar variety packs. Of course, the first thing you want to do though once receiving the box is "I want to smell them". And I was pleasantly surprised, and was looking forward to my next shower. So let's start with the scent then. Of the 5 flavors, here is my ranking from most to least favorite: 1) Wood Barrel Bourbon (WBB), 2) Coconut Castaway (CC), 3) Gold Moss (GM), 4) Birchwood Breeze (BB), 5) Fresh Falls (FF). And it's not like I didn't like FF. It just reminded me more like a standard soap smell. Whereas all the other scents felt more earthy or exotic. I asked my wife to smell too. So for her opinion, I did not get a complete ranking. But her most favorite was also the WBB. And her least was the GM. So anyway, WBB is the front runner in this house. Moving on. The next thing I did was review the ingredients. I use an app that scans the product and tells me, because there's no way I'm going to research each thing myself. So all 5 bars had high rankings. But it was interesting to find BB and CC had slightly lower marks due to the inclusion of titanium dioxide. The app labels this as low risk, and I'll let you look that up for the details. But the other 3 bars did not have it. So again, WBB comes out on top for me. Moving on. I have not been able to use all of them. But of course, I went straight for the WBB. Again it smells so good when I step into the shower. I can smell it even before starting to scrub. It seems to lather good. No complaints there. The first couple uses, it felt smooth on the skin. As it starts to wear down, I started to feel a bit of the grit in the soap. I don't find this as a bad thing. Just noticeable. Also, I think it wears down faster than normal soap. Could be why buying 5 bars at a time is the way to go. (As I thought at first, man, 5 bars of soap will last me a long time. But probably not now at this rate.) Also, the shape was odd to me. The square instead of the standard rectangular shape. It sat awkwardly in my soap dish for a bit. Until it wore down. Neither of those things is enough to mark any points off though. I am thoroughly happy with this soap. I look forward to trying more flavors. And I look forward to trying more Squatch products overall. ... show more

Awesome product . The pros : Smells great , feels awesome on skin , lathers nice , exfoliation is great , all natural ingredients . The cons : The bars do not last long at all . You go through them quick. Very expensive for a bar that has no longevity . I still use them anyway 😃

I wanted to spoil my Dad for Father's day so I put together a self-care package for him. This was apart of it and he loved the smell of it. My co-worker says her fiance also uses it. It's a good soap and a bath-time treat for the body!

This soap is very heavily priced, but according to other name brand soaps, this is actually on the cheaper side. And you get really high quality grit soaps, that smell absolutely amazing. Would not go back to regular soap after use.

Great smells and a good option to try the brand out. However I stumbled upon the same Dr. Squatch bars at Walmart for 5.98! Yep so Amazon isn't the low cost leader.
