I used these to mount new tires on my Case tractor, which is quite a feat for a 63-year-old man. These tire spoons did the trick, although one of them got slightly tweaked. Tractor tires are tough to mount, but these irons made it possible; worth every penny.

    • Heavy duty tire changers.
These handles are heavy duty and not cheap or flimsy. Very good quality and come with a heavy thick storage pouch that's made out of thick nylon and not plastic with a Velcro securing latch on one side. The rubber grip they use on the handle is sort of flimsy but to honest you don't even need them and you will probably take them off anyway if the start wearing out. I picked these up on sale for 20 buck and in my opinion is a steal because of the quality. I recommend these to anybody changing their own tires. ... show more

I bought these to specifically change mower tires. They worked great and are plenty heavy for the job. You will see comments about chrome chipping off but they are tire irons not something you typically polish and show! Chrome chips when you pry against other metal with it. Second set ordered hoping the first time was a fluke. The end of the large tire iron in both kits has a bend to the side. The photo is not distorted, and in reality the bend is worse than the photo shows. Probably a defect in the press that bends the metal. Surprised no QC to pick this up. Either that, or hoping stupid Amazon buyer does not care. Well I like my tools straight and true, thank you. Also, but not a deal breaker, the plastic is just heat shrink and in the wrong place to boot. Would not protect a rim. I knew this going in to it. Will not order a third time. The metal looks plenty strong though, what a shame. ... show more
