I needed a futon that was portable ,comfortable and at a good price and Dr. futon was the answer. They had many sizes and covers for it. The delivery date was on point I was surprised when it arrived in a small box when I opened it it was rolled up and had instructions of how to enlarge it into its full size. very simple, pretty much just take it out of the box and let it air out for 72 hours, the only con I see is the cover is a little hard to take out and to put back on. Bought this because I had my mother-in-law coming in to town for a month and needed an extra bed. I actually ended up sleeping on it for a week and my back felt insanely better. If it weren't for my marriage, I'd probably just sleep on it every night. There are some minor cons: it is difficult to fold up when you first get it but after a day or two it rolls easy. Second, the bag that it comes with is very cheap and broke immediately. Not a big deal because I had another place to store it, but don't depend on the bag being very good. ... show more

I'm very pleased with this mattress. My old one was flat, uncomfortable, and badly needed replacing. I was afraid that replacing it would be too expensive, but this new one is super comfortable. I have been sleeping on it for several months now and honestly have no complaints.

I was very excited to get this - to my new flat. It is exactly as pictured. its good enough to sleep on the floor and not having the side effects of the actual floor. I do have to say it was a pain in the butt to put the mattress in the cover, almost like it doesn't fit. I really like it - the only thing I should have checked on is being able to remove the cover on the mattress (my dog peed on it) and now i have no way to clean it. other than that, its fantastic. I love sleeping on the floor, or low to the ground. i would still recommend just have no accidents on it. ... show more

When I took it out, it started expanding right away. It took a couple of hours to expand to the full size. It also came with a transport bag in case I wanted to take it for camping or somewhere else. We've been using the futon for 2 months. So far it's been great. The futon has been holding firm so far. It's our second futon purchase. Our initial purchase was for a more expensive futon from overseas. However it started to lose firmness. It requires hanging and "beating" to restore firmness. We decided to try Dr Futon as a cheaper alternative and so far it has been great. We stopped using big thick spring mattress for over a year as it gave us back pain.
