I purchased this product with my own money. I have used this soap regularly for over a decade and keep returning for more. I was not paid or compensated for my review. This review is not meant to be taken as medical advice; it is just an honest review of my experience using this product. I have sensitive and dry skin. Before using this soap, my legs would be so dry and itchy that I would often bleed from scratching them so much, and I would cry from the pain. Before using this soap, I used to break out in a rash after shaving, even when using gel shaving foam and expensive razors. I did not dilute this soap. I poured it straight into my hands and lathered up to wash the rest of my body. I used this undiluted soap to shave and have found it far superior to shaving cream, other soaps, and lotion. I did not get a rash from this product after shaving, and my legs have been noticeably less dry and itchy. This was my experience, and your experience may be different than mine. I do not use this product to wash my hair or my face. I have used this product to clean our shower while in the shower, and I love that it saved me time and I didn't have to worry about dangerous chemicals. I keep a sponge in a dry area of our shower for this purpose. I have taken this soap in travel-size containers when camping. My favorite scent is almond. I wish the lavender scent were milder, but I still liked it. The mint scent was excellent, but it did sting my eyes and nether regions when used at full strength. ... show more

Really nice mellow and mild lavender soap. No harsh chemicals. Great for face wash as lavender/linalool acts as a disinfectant. It can make your skin dry a little bit so use sparingly. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and would purchase this item again. Delivered in excellent condition.

I use this product in my laundry especially for my towel loads. I love how it’s natural then most laundry cleaners. I will continue buying in other scents as well. I bought lavender and loved the scent.

This is an excellent soap useful in many different applications. I use it for general household cleaning, automotive cleaning and general use. I use a small amount in a bucket for automotive use and it doesn't appear to leave a filmy residue like some other soaps. I've never seen any indication that it's hard on automotive paints. I love this soap so much but y'all should consider a different packaging situation because it always comes with a broken lid and leaks all over the inside of my package. If you would just put some like Styrofoam around the lids to protect it that would really help or even just tape the lids down onto the bottle that would even work. We’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s products for many years. We appreciate the company’s messaging, the “brand” and the products themselves. It’s important to use only organic products on your skin, and this price makes that affordable. The scent is great! Our favorites are the lavender, eucalyptus and peppermint. I use it for myself and for washing my pups (the lavender is soothing for itchy skin!). Since this is concentrated, once diluted, its actually cheaper than more commonly used shower gels and dog shampoos that contain all those chemicals! ... show more
