I ordered this chair after my Respawn chair of 6 years started to deteriorate. Upon doing research, many said that Dowinx was a great brand and specifically that the ergonomic chair was comfortable, long-lasting, and a decent price. Firstly, the chair game much faster than expected which was a huge bonus. Living in an age of prime shipping I have become rather impatient and it showed up in 2 days. Next, the assembly instructions were extremely clear and I was able to put 95% of it together myself (only needing help for placing the back of the chair). My only quarrel is that the seat cushion is smaller than I expected. I am 5'3" and about 180 lbs and as someone who likes to sit criss-cross, it is possible to but it isnt as comfortable as it was in my respawn chair. I can sit normally very comfortably but I do feel restricted trying to sit any other way (which when I game I tend to move around a lot). The back of the chair is thinner than I was expecting, however this isnt necessarily a bad thing. The pillows sit well on the chair and complement my back. The back being smaller does make the chair significantly lighter which is a bonus to me. Overall, I would recommend this chair for someone who is smaller set and is on a budget. The overall quality of the chair is spectacular, the base of the chair is metal and the fabric feels extremely durable. So far, I am a big fan. The only reason I likely won't repurchase or purchase one for my partner is because of the size being smaller than I expected. ... show more

The comfortability, the massage and the support and the foot rest is unmatchable to any chair I’ve sat in. I will say the foot rest does have a little flexibility and seems slightly flimsy but if your hand and head smart you could make it better. But over all this chair is very nice 99% of the building process, all parts are strong metal very easy to build. The chair (in the color I choose) is very aesthetically pleasing. **update** Customer service reached out almost immediate to remedy my faulty issues. This was not expected and has blown me away with their promptness and support. Due to this alone, I would purchase from them again. Thanks! I have had this chair for about six months now. It gets almost daily use, primarily for school and some light gaming throughout the week. After six months, it is already falling apart. I am not a big guy at all; I am 5'6" and 154 lbs, and I thought that because of this, the chair would hold up much better than it has. Yet, I am already looking to replace it. It was a bit firm at first but still comfortable, and now I have to add cushions to sit in it. The armrests were decent initially, but they were the first to come apart. The glued foam padding underneath has separated, and now it just floats around. ... show more

About as average as it gets, Im a 5’10”, 170lbs male and the chair fits me ok id say, also my much shorter and light wife uses it with about the same its ok feeling. Seems a bit wide in respect to arm rests maybe i should have bought the full rail arm rest one. USES- work from home, gaming, soon to be online college which will be the real test. CONS- -When sitting upright as normal The arm rests really aren't located correctly for my elbows/arms. To wide and far forward with no adjustment in that axis. -The chair starts squeaking a month or so after using, kinda annoying but from i hear most do this. -had a faulty wheel that would break apart every few mins of use, but they sent free replacements and its been fine since. -lean or (rocking) feature is stiff to use unless the chair is already leaned back making most of my upper body weight is past the chairs center point. If i was 6’3” and 250lbs maybe it would be easier but even with chair set to least rocking resistance i have to have feet on desk or heavily leaned to get chair to stay rocked back (the spot i prefer to game in). Easy fix would be the ability to lock after leaning back but mine does not do that sadly. -shoulda taken that cheap useless afterthought cell phone level vibration device out of lumbar support and added heating. Or just saved me the difference as its not like it massages, and the cord is short, unusable, and would be in the way even if it did reach anything. PROS- -lots, dont let my cons steer you away, i still love this chair. -looks amazing, great material for the chair, -seems like material will last, me and my wife have been using 2 months looks like its brand like its never been sat in, foams not sunken a bit, material has no wear, or stretch. Early yet but we will see. -comfortable, more then i expected for this type of chair, assumed less so then full ergo chair but you dont buy a cheaper sports car and expect it to ride like a Bentley so happy for the price for sure. -honestly for the price and what I've seen other chairs go for and ppl i know bought I'm super happy with this. -foot rest is nice at times, more sturdy then i thought when looking at it. -pillow support nicely positioned -bottom support good FINAL THOUGHTS- -Yes its not perfect, but nothing is, everything is from china or made like made like trash these days so even an 8/10 to me for this price is like finding gold. Im happy with my purchase which is rare these days, quite picky when it comes to spending my money. Id buy again which says it all. ... show more
