I needed a rich, moisturizing bar soap for winter. I have very dry skin, especially during our cold winters, and other soaps were drying my skin out even more. This is exactly what I needed! It's extremely rich, very lathering, and feels nourishing. A very luxurious feeling soap, feels expensive. It takes longer to rinse off because it has a lotion feel on the skin but wasn't difficult to rinse off and I wasn't left feeling greasy, gummy, or slick afterwards. My skin felt nourished and replenished. I don't use it in the summer as it's too heavy for hot whether, but November through March, it's the only soap I use. Nice large bar lathers well, has a silky, creamy texture and the bar lasts a long time. It has a subtle, clean scent but not overpowering. If you have dry skin, this is a great soap. ... show more

I have always been a shower gel girl, but about a year ago, I got tired of overcrowding my shower with products and also realized that I wanted to be less wasteful (I know, how “go green!” Of me. But, I truly have been using this soap for the last year and I am not turning back to shower gels! As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, I can also recommend this soap for those with sensitive skin. Dove has always been recommended by dermatology offices, and this bar soap falls right under that umbrella. The scent is lovely and warm, and I use it all year round as it is the perfect base before I put on any lotions ! Love the scent, love how long it lasts, and my bathroom closet is absolutely stocked with these little bar soaps! All of dove’s bar soap scents are great, but this one has got to be my favorite. I’ve always loved dove products and when I was on the hunt for a new soap bar, this did not disappoint. I’ve used so many other brands that promise a soft silk finish and they leave my skin feeling dryer and tacky. The smell of this is very subtle but also very warm and cozy. This is one of my favorite bars, it smells so good in the shower and the scent lasts. Keeps my skin feeling smooth, clean, and fresh outside even during winter. Pairs great with a shea/coconut oil lotion and some baby oil.

I typically have very dry itchy skin especially during the winter time. This soap helps keep me moisturized and I don't feel like it leaves a residue on my skin like other bar soaps can. It has a pleasant light fragrance that helps keep you smelling fresh throughout the day.
