When planning family road trips, I often find myself spending hours searching for accomodations with the right number of beds for our family members. I had been looking for an easily portable option to give us some more flexibility, and I'm happy to say that I've found it! This double sleeping pad inflates in 5-10 minutes, depending on your leg strength and whether you're in a hurry. You simply step repeatedly on a funny little cushion at the foot of the mat until the whole thing has filled up with air to your satisfaction. That's right—the pump is built right into the mat itself, so there's nothing extra to keep track of, and since it's completely human-powered, you don't even need electricity. I was skeptical after viewing the inflated mat about how comfortable it would be for a side sleeper like myself, because of the pattern of gaps between the air pockets. To my surprise, once I found a sleeping position it seemed to magically settle out so that no part of me ended up hitting the ground. Even the built-in pillow is surprisingly functional, so that you really only need to add bedding before this mat is ready for sleeping. I was even able to fold it up so that it fit back in the storage bag, which means that it's genuinely portable and compact enough for travel. This is a great double sleeping mat at an affordable price, and would make a worthy addition to your travel gear. ... show more
