I'm an "early adopter" of super-strength mounting tape. I've used 'em all: the big G and the "as seen on TV" A brands, and this tape looks, feels and handles exactly the same. I have just begun to use it, so I can't speak to the longevity of its hold, or how hard or easy it is to remove, but using it to complete an entire day's list of tasks makes me think that I can expect similar performance. Two things give this product the edge over the others, however. 1. It comes on a spool, with side guards. The second most irksome thing about the others is how they stick to everything, including the plastic bags they're stored in! These hubs let you slide them in and out of their storage box without all the hassle. 2. You can actually peel the backing plastic off quickly! I have struggled for endless minutes with the other brands to the point of giving up. A wooden sign my client wanted mounted in her living room went up in seconds. A wandering welcome mat is now firmly secured. But I wanted a truly tough test...and that brought me to my kitchen sink and what I think of as the Water Tape Torture! My sink had two issues: a mystery flange that might've once been the mount for a scrubber system (?), but now is just there, useless. Also, I had no good place to hold my dish scrubber brushes. I got the idea to use an old, plastic tube/box from a popular low-calorie drink mix to hold the brushes and using the unsightly flange as a mounting point, killing two proverbial birds with one stone! How I was going to accomplish this was unclear...until the arrival of the Nano Tape! A quick turn around the flange made my mount nice n' sticky, and an X cut on the bottom of the tube made it possible to push it down onto the flange for a nice, firm grip. And, as you can see by the photo: voila! A day of dishes, water and soap didn't loosen it a bit! Needless to say, at these prices, I won't be buying those other brands anymore. This is the good stuff, and at a good price! ... show more

    • It REALLY STICKS

I'm impressed!! This stuff REALLY HOLDS!! Apparently, it's what they call "nanotechnology" as it'll stick to almost any smooth or semi-smooth surface easily... If you later need to remove the tape, no problem, it'll peel right off without leaving any sticky residue... As a test, I was needing to install a new 16 port network switch, which I needed to mount to the wall. Instead of adding two more screws to my wall, I instead took two small pieces of this double-sided tape to the back of the switch, and slapped it against the wall, then pressed really hard for about 30 secs, and 4 days later, it still hasn't moved (nor do I expect it to anytime soon.) The ONLY drawback that I've discovered with this Nano Double-sided Tape, is the stuff grabs so well that it's difficult to cut.... It literally sticks to every smooth surface it comes in contact with, including the blades of the scissors! I've tried using a Xacto knife as well, which works a bit better than scissors, but it's still not easy to cut a piece from the roll, without it wanting to attach to whatever is being used to cut the tape. I wish I could find a solution to this little (non) issue, but I haven't yet, outside using a smart Xacto knife... Other than that one small drawback, this stuff is outstanding! So, IMHO, this stuff is the best double-sided mounting tape I've ever had in my toolbox. I'll be picking up more of this as soon as it's gone. This is tape has multiple uses for mounting items around the home and office and is beneficial just about every week. I would recommend this product to family and friends. ... show more
