Originally ordered this rope to hang between 2 open gate areas (gates on new fence not installed yet) to keep vehicles from driving through. Haven't had the chance to use it yet but the rope appears to be of decent construction at a fair price. Two braided jackets and twisted 48 strand core. Not sure that it will live up to the stated 7400 lb. tensile strength but should be more than adequate for my purposes which is to pull the tree in the direction I want it to fall. The rope is far more heavy duty than what you find at the big box home centers. I like that the all polyester construction enables the cut ends to be "hot knife" cut or melted with a torch to prevent fraying. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. ... show more
