Update almost three years later- Added photos of the beds bunked. I love that these are lower than standard bunk beds as the bottom bed is on the floor. I feel exactly the same about them now as I did when I bought them. We’ll use these until they fall apart. Also, would recommend a bunkie board or something similar for comfort. Both could use it but definitely the top. Original review- This bed is exactly what would be expected of a bunk/two twin beds for the price. They look nice and serve their purpose with success. The wood is soft and easily dented. Assembly process was a breeze. It took about 2-3 hours to assemble. Instructions easy to follow. I love that these beds can be used separately or stacked for bunks. If you are able to afford a higher quality bed and looking for something more durable then I would expand your search. If you’re looking for two beds or a bunk on a tight budget then I would look no further. ... show more

I really like this bed! I have a 5 and 7 year old and they love it. It’s super sturdy and took about 2 hours to assemble. It’s nice and low since we have low ceilings. A few pieces on the wood were sharp and I was afraid my daughter oh the bottom bunk would hit her head so I sanded them down and now no problem. A few pieces cane slightly dented or scuffed but for me it was no big deal. I highly recommend this is you have low ceilings or are nervous about little ones falling out of the top. ... show more

The bunk beds are a good price compared to a few others I liked. It’s perfect height for my 5 and 3 year olds. The bed was easy to put together. The holes on the latter were put on the wrong side but my husband just made new holes and it was fine. The wood does scratch / dent easy though. The slats for the top bunk are enough for the mattress not to sink down. I was going to put a board down but it wasn’t needed. The bed is sturdy. I had my husband bounce on the top bunk. Easy to put together. Took my about 90 minutes going at a slow pace by myself (no extra set of hands slows the process down, but it can be done). The wood pieces aren't exceptional but for the price you shouldn't expect that. Every piece in my box was undamaged and looked good. Every item needed was in the box. I feel safe with the way the bunk beds are attached. I may get a bunky board later. So far (1 month) so good with a 45lb four year old on the top bunk. ... show more

I like almost everything about this bed. Only con is there are 2 extra holes on the bottom front rail. I went through the instructions at least 5 times and don’t understand why they are there. We were in the market for 2 bunk bed and saw this one online and decided to buy just one first to try it out. It is a nice looking bunk bed but a couple boards arrived with some damage, but at this point I don't feel like spending another two hours taking it apart to replace damaged boards. The main issue is that bunks beds are really meant for kids that are at least 6-7 years old. Any younger and I think it is a little dangerous. But the upper bunk on this bed sits so low that even a 5 year old would hit his head if he woke up suddenly and raised up. It's just too low. So, we won't buy a second one. Just be aware that there is not a lot of head room for a 6-7 year old child that's on the bottom bed. ... show more

Perfect for my girls! When looking for younger kid friendly bunks I knew I wanted low height ones in case the top sleeper was ever to fall and these did not disappoint! It is a very beautiful sturdy white bunk. Assembly took about 2 hours but was very easy. All of our pieces were in perfect shape. After reading reviews I was scared to purchase because of comments saying easy denting or not sturdy especially when it came to the top bunks railing but I had no such problems. My only complaint is it did take a couple days for a strong chemical type smell to go away and I was afraid I might have to return but by day 2 it was gone and now I have no complaints!!! ... show more

The paint was coming off on multiple places. The wood was cracked in multiple places. There was a lot of dents and chipped wood. It was hard to put together because the holes where the nuts went weren’t perfectly made. I would not recommend this bed.
