  • Saves space!
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
I've got three boys that have to share a room. When I was trying to figure out how to cram three beds into a room, I came across this. I was enticed by the price, but worried that it would be able to hold them. I was excited to find that this was made of a sturdy wood and not the pressed board that today's furniture seems to be always made of. I was able to put the bunks together on my own in the matter of just 2-3hours. I did however, tweak the directions, knowing that I would never be able to lift one on top of the other. After 2 years, this bed still stands up to one preteen and two teenage boys. ... show more

  • Nice triple bunk bed
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
I needed a triple bunk bed for my boys as I have a two bedroom apartment. It is perfect and the boys love it. I was worried there wouldn't be enough space between beds but it worked out perfectly. Obviously, it cannot come preassembled, otherwise it wouldn't fit through the front door. So, prepare for hours of assembly. Despite numerous pieces, following instructions was easy and everything fit together well. I would buy again. ... show more

  • Great buy!
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
This product is a great value for the price. I was a little hesitant after reading a few reviews, but this was the best option for our family so I decided to take the chance. The triple bunk comesnin 2 boxes and the instructions for the triple (vs just double) are in the triple bunk kit. The bed frames were very easy to assemble, the instructions we clear and concise. I highly recommend using a drill to assemble, otherwise it does take a little longer. Overall it took about 3 hours to assemble. Its a solid piece of furniture, no wobbling, and the finish is perfect. ... show more

  • Overall good bed but....
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
So far this seems like a great bed at a great price. I say so far because we just built the first one (I will update if anything goes wrong with the second triple bunk bed or if anything happens with the first one). We bought two of these as we have six children, and we are still looking for our dream home. These beds caught my eye because they don’t take up much space, and can be taken apart into separate beds when we do find our dream home so we aren’t having to purchase new beds later. We bought one for the girls room and one for the boys room. The girls all love them. We have not built the boys yet as I only have one day a week off work and school. My husband tried all day to get them together and only had one bed put together. I took over and got the other two together and got the mattresses in and beds maid in about 2 1/2 hours by myself. So I’m guessing it would have taken me about 3 hours to completely build all three beds. The directions were simple pictures and honestly it was just pretty easy to figure out without using them much. My only issue is how small the spaces are between the beds and there is nothing to anchor the beds to the wall to keep them from tipping forward. They’re not super heavy beds to move. I moved the fully assembled triple bunk bed by myself across the room to where I wanted it. Which makes me worry about possible tipping due to how light it is. I’m going to find a way to fasten it to the wall just to be safe (because we do have six kids). Overall I am pleased for the price though. Plus they do safe space which is what I was wanting since our house is fairly small right now. The boys are very excited for theirs to get built, but since they are toddlers I’m going to wait until I find a way to fasten them to the walls first. I would recommend the company make something to secure the beds to the wall for safety reasons or make the bed heavier so it doesn’t seem like it would be easy to tip. My girls are all about the same size as me and I was able to move the bed on my own which kind of freaks me out about the tipping. On a good note, IF it did tip, it wouldn’t crush a child because it is so light. It does seem sturdy otherwise I climbed onto each level and bounced around and nothing cracked or seemed flimsy or worrisome. Climbing the taller ladder did slightly pull the bed away from the wall though. I’m only 140lbs, and this bed is suppose to be rated for 250lbs per level. But I don’t think that included climbing the ladder because it did pull away from the wall a little when I did so. I put my smallest girl on top and it didn’t seem to pull away when she climbed up it, but she weighs about 50lbs less than me too. So beware if you have larger kids that you will likely need to secure it. Otherwise it seems like a great deal for the price. And hopefully the manufacturer will find a good solution for the potential tipping hazard sooner than later. Until then I’m off to homedepot to find something to secure it to the wall. ... show more

  • Beautiful space saving affordable worth it
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
I love this bed I got the brown one the color is beautiful! The bed comes in pieces like you really am have to put thee whole thing together I’m confused how some people put it together by themselves I mean I did most of it myself but I def needed a hand at times. I bought 6 inch memory foam mattresses Haven’t received them yet to know how they hold up on the slats being as tho they’re so far apart. The bed is sturdy I had all of my children climb to the top and it didn’t seem to tilt forward as someone stated. I did assign a younger child to the top tho just incase. If you decide to use a thicker mattress it’ll leave little room for the bar to keep child from rolling out of the bed. The wood knicks very easily I did it a couple times with just my natural finger nails. The box’s are soooo heavy there’s 2. I am a 145lb woman I had to take all pieces upstairs individually. Idk how those delivery men do it. ... show more

  • Great bunk, add cable wall anchors
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
Took a bit to assemble but that was expected. Sturdy enough but it does wiggle a bit when my 12 year old climbs to the top. I added a couple metal cable wall anchors drilled into studs just in case for our peace of mind. Don't use a thick mattress, or it won't give you much security with the rail and you won't have as much head space. ... show more

  • Great value and space saver!
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
This bed was pretty easy to put together. Took me 2 days but it was about 4-5 hours in total. It looks great in the room. It's been set up for about 2 days now and the kids love it. It is a great space saver when you have multiple kids. Only issue was that it came in 2 boxes and each box came a different day. Other than that, everything is great. ... show more

  • Not covered under manufacturer warranty
Color: Mocha Style: Transitional
Missing part# U. I emailed the seller yesterday and they said they could try to get me the part. I learned today that the manufacturer, Dorel, will not honor this product because it is from an unauthorized third party seller. I initiated a return hoping the can quickly send the part, since my kids room is torn apart with a partially assembled triple bunk. Instead, it seems I will have to disassemble and send it all back. Dorel does not back their products and sends out bed sets with missing parts then charges $25 to send a single part. Terrible company and Amazon shouldn't allow unauthorized third party sellers without disclosure of voided warranty coverage. ... show more
