My kids love it. It’s sturdy and easily convertible. Looks great in the room. We installed strip lights in the perimeter of the bunk and it’s really cool. This was a very cheap price and the only reason for that is you have to assemble it entirely yourself. The box is full of wood and you get to build it. Instructions were easy to follow and I couldn’t imagine doing it alone but I’m reading some single parents are doing it. I recommend it. I only just received this item this week so I can't speak to it's longevity or quality but I like how sturdy it feels and it doesn't shake when someone climbs into the top bunk. The rail in the top feels very protective. Top bed can easily be taken down and put back up without screws/etc which is nice. And it's really cute. No items were damaged in the shipping or missing. As for the assembly, I've put together a lot of furniture before and I think the directions were good. It takes time too. As a single mom, I'm always determined to do things on my own but this is a two person job. Also, I paid for Amazon to deliver to the room of my choice and I'm glad I did because there was no way I could have moved this box up a flight of stairs or between rooms (box is ~130 lbs and an awkward shape). I followed the instructions to get a 6" mattress for the top and I got an 8" for the full bed below. Hope it holds up over time! ... show more

The bed came fast after ordering . As we were assembling the bed we notice a duplicate part came and had to contact the seller to send the correct/missing part (part E). Getting ahold of the company was quick and they were friendly, a week later the missing part arrived and we were able to complete the bunk bed. Every part was labeled, easy instructions. 1. Make sure to have help while assembling. 2. I have a 12’ mattress on the bottom, and it’s a bit tight for an adult, but again, worth the buy. 3. I wish the side frames of the top bed were a little thicker. Every time one grabs the sides, it sounds like it could break. (But maybe that’s just the way wood beds are idk). 4. I love love love, that you can take the beds easily apart. 5. It’s beautiful, and had no dents. 6. Does not come with base boards. I had to purchase some ply wood from Home depo for that. 7. Tons of room under the bed for storage. Really awesome. ... show more

I built this bed alone (5'4, 165lbs) and it took me a few hours (distractions). I was able to put the twin on top of the full so having 2 people would be great and easy but doing it alone is not impossible. It is durable. However, if you look at picture 3, you can see the wood is very chipped which is part of the full bed. I used a hair dryer to get the stickers off bc it was hard without it. ... show more

These beds are nice and sturdy, but came damaged (see pictures) setup was fairy simple. The box was a mess and the screws and dowels were scattered through the whole thing. I paid for new, but it seemed like a returned item.
