The clamp that holds the heater broke to pieces melted part of the plastic and won't turn on anymore.

We used this heater in our garage for 2 weeks on its own designated outlet. We started smelling a burning smell this morning and after checking heater, the plastic had melted. My husband unscrewed the back and noticed that the heating element and wires had been burned and were smoking. It put out good heat which is why I gave it 2 stars but I would not recommend this in case it caught fire. I will be returning it as soon as I find a box I can put it in and send back. ... show more
