The media could not be loaded. This is actually my 4th machine in the past two years. I like to have a few on hand because some work better in different ways. First downfall was the peddle given did not work. It's fine because it accepted the one I already have. The stitches are much tighter than the red sewing machine I have which is really nice in making masks fit better. It was already threaded for me when it arrived so I was able to just plug and get going. I think the mechanics of this one is much better. We'll see how it does on thicker material tho. Ive only used 2 layers of cotton material at this point. My max layers with my red one without skipping stitches is about 4-5. I need about 6 layers when doing the edges of thinner materials like bandana prints. There also seems to be no on off switch other than the front switch when not using a peddle. There is also a separate button for the light. I consistently have mine on anyways because I can't see very well but that might be a bonus to people who don't like the light being on. I think my biggest thing compared to my current sewing machine is that I don't like when things are hard to get to especially with rethreading and I didn't have that issue with this sewing machine. This little machine does a great job on small sewing projects. I've used it to shorten men's wash pants of fairly heavy weight and also to fabricate some items using heavy weight pet screen for a project I designed. It's very easy to set up. The handy light really helps. Operating on battery power (an option) it runs noticeably slower and has less power, but the 6v DC power supply (included) escapes that issue if you need more power. Bought this for my daughters birthday. She started using it today noticed the thread kept jamming. When I went to check, I noticed the bobbin are is not in place securely. The needle hits it constantly and can result in being broken. This is disappointing because she was so excited to start her sewing journey. ... show more

Be honest I didn’t expect this sewing machine is So little. I thought It gonna be little bigger than this. But after I use it, I think this is perfect size, because I’m not professional sewing person, this is good enough for me. And little size is perfect for storage!!! It doesn’t need big room for it. This is a great sewing machine! I can sew different kinds of materials such as fabric that is hard to sew by hand but easy to sew with the sewing machine. This sewing machine is also great because I can change the patterns effortlessly unlike sewing by hand. Certain patterns I try to make are time-consuming and I don’t always get the pattern the way I want it. The sewing machine is for professionals and beginners alike. Using the sewing machine is easy to control because I can use the foot presser to control when I want to turn the machine on or off, or I could use the batteries making the machine portable. The sewing machine is also easy to carry. Another thing about this machine is that it can reverse sew which makes sewing even faster and easier going forward and backward effortlessly. This sewing machine has speed settings and also friction settings. It looks and feels like a toy. Not the best quality but you get what you pay for. I do t do heavy duty sewing anymore do I am hoping it will suffice.
