I make a lot of purchases on Amazon but this has to be in my top five of all time. For the price it is unbelievable. The amount of exercises you can do on this piece of equipment is unmatched in my opinion. I strongly considered buying a smith machine at the same time but it's not even needed now. The space this takes is so little compared to how many things I can do with this machine. (And I keep finding more I can do!) I’m and intermediate lifter, (and a woman) and thrilled with this purchase. When not using it I set the bars on its highest setting so I have space for jumping jacks etc… but when I am using it it’s just great. Make sure to watch the video that shows all you can do on the equipment. I also had a bench I purchased on amazing that allowed me to do quad extensions… so the combo of these two pieces give me a great gym set up for a tiny area. ... show more

Not only does it come at a fraction of the cost, but it’s also the only one I’ve come across that’s available in sleek black. For the price, this is an outrageous value. Easy to assemble, and it works beautifully. The convenience and safety are a huge benefit. You need about six feet wide by six feet deep by seven feet of height, and you're all set. BTW, it works with standard, 1" plates if you prefer. This is really great equipment, and an even better value, compared to similar leveraged exercise equipment systems. Note that a leveraged 2:1 system means that the weight plates used with the pulleys translate into about half their weight for the exercise. For example, if you put 100 pounds of weight plates on the posts used for the pulleys, you’ll be exercising with about 50 pounds of weight (+ / -). I tested this and found that the top pulley converted almost exactly to half the weight, and the bottom pulley converted to a few pounds more than half the weight. Weights on the arms (not the pulleys) are 1:1, and therefore, approximate their actual weight, plus a few pounds for the weight of the arms. Also note that this equipment does not hold as much total weight as some more expensive equipment. The weight limits should only be a problem for people who really want to lift heavy. I really liked that you can use 1 inch or 2 inch (hole) weight plate as I already had a number of 1 inch plates in my home gym. I was a little disappointed that they only provided 2, 1 inch clips to hold the plates in place, but provided 6 clips to hold the 2 inch weight plates. These clips, however, only cost a few dollars per clip to buy. The equipment was reasonably easy to assemble. Although the instructions recommended that it be assembled by 2 or more people, I was easily able to do it myself. I took me roughly 4 hours taking my time. One small metal part (picture uploaded) was bent and had to be replaced. While the seller was very responsive to my email, they had to get the part from China and it took about 8 days to arrive. There was also a minor rip in some padding (pictured) which I did not bother to report to the seller. The equipment is extremely versatile. There are many obvious exercises, but there are many more you can create with a little imagination and, maybe, some attachments. The moveable arms are versatile even with no weight plates. For example, you can use them as a dip station, a pullup station, to do pushups, or other calisthenics depending on how you position the bars. One limitation of this type of equipment, and more expensive Smith Machines, is that you have to physically remove and add weight plates, and move the arms, etcetera, for many exercises. These setup changes take some time and effort compared to most multi-station all-in-one home gyms whereby you can quickly change weight by moving a pin, and the setup by changing stations. At $399.99 ($349.99 with coupon) as of this review posting, you cannot beat the value for this versatile piece of equipment. ... show more
