  • I finally stumbled upon the DDP-60 Electric Piano and it has completely exceeded my expectations.
Color: Classic Gray Wood Grain
First and foremost, the 88 velocity-sensitive keys on this piano provide a realistic touch and feel, making it perfect for beginners who are still learning to develop their finger strength and control. The keys are also full-sized, giving it the same feel as a traditional acoustic piano, making it easier to transition to other instruments in the future. The DDP-60 boasts an impressive 128 voices, allowing for a wide range of sound options to choose from. Whether I want to play a classical piece, a modern pop song, or experiment with different genres, this piano has it all covered. The voices are also of high quality, with rich and clear tones, making my playing experience even more enjoyable. One of the standout features of this digital piano is the 83 built-in rhythms. This allows me to play along with a variety of beats and styles, making practice sessions more fun and engaging. I particularly enjoy the drum and bass rhythms, as they provide a solid foundation for my playing and help me develop my sense of timing and rhythm. Another factor that sets this piano apart is the 8 reverb effects. These effects add depth and character to the sound, making it feel like I am playing in a concert hall or a small intimate venue. It adds a professional touch to my playing and allows me to experiment with different sounds. The DDP-60 also comes with 3 piano-style pedals, including sustain, sostenuto, and soft pedals. These pedals enhance the sound and allow for more expressive playing. They are also detachable, making it easy to transport the piano if needed. The piano also comes with a sturdy stand, providing a stable and comfortable playing experience. The classic gray color adds a touch of elegance to the overall look of the piano, making it a beautiful addition to any room. Apart from the impressive features, the DDP-60 is also user-friendly and easy to navigate. The control panel is straightforward and intuitive, allowing me to access all the functions and settings with ease. It also has a headphone jack, which is perfect for practicing without disturbing others. In conclusion, the DDP-60 Electric Piano is an excellent choice for beginners. It offers a wide range of features, high-quality sound, and a realistic playing experience, all at an affordable price. It has exceeded my expectations and has made my journey as a beginner pianist more enjoyable and rewarding. I highly recommend this digital piano to anyone looking to start their musical journey or upgrade to a more advanced instrument. ... show more

  • Full featured and fun to play keyboard
Color: Classic Gray Wood Grain
I'm a frustrated musician. I took piano lessons as a kid and later in life I've found that I really enjoy playing. I don't think I'll ever improve beyond a novice level but it's a lot of fun. Every now and then, I've thought about buying an actual piano but it never makes sense. My wife and I travel for at least half the year and I wouldn't get enough use out of it to justify the outlay. This is a good temporary solution. It costs a fraction of what a full size piano does and does a good job replicating the experience of playing a piano. The speakers are built in of you want to crank up the volume and you've got three pedals and a music stand. Unlike many keyboards of this type this one looks good enough to have in your house with a classic gray wood grain. Really a lot of product for a value price point. Recommended! ... show more

  • Good for beginners, but pedal sounds aren't very good
Color: Classic Gray Wood Grain
I'll preface this review by saying I am an absolute beginner. Which is good for you, because if you aren't buying this for a beginner you shouldn't be looking at it. A more advanced player will be disappointed by the pedals, which don't change the sound as well as they could. Advanced players also are more critical of how the keys feel when you press them. With key feel I'm too much of a beginner to heavily know what to criticize, but I can say the 52 white keys feel good to press. The remaining black keys don't feel as nice to play. I should say play around with, because I haven't played any songs with them yet! One thing is although this is a digital piano it doesn't have many electronic features as common on portable keyboards. They aren't really needed on a more professional simpler styling and this does cross the barrier from more amateur to serious study, so I guess it is expected. In terms of aesthetics this digital piano is very pretty. I really like the classic gray wood grain look. I'm not a person that likes wood trim, but this looks really nice in my living room. Doing a little wire management I tied the power cable down one of the legs, but still leaves the foot pedal cord running down the center. I wish the cable was longer, so I could route it better. I'm taking down one star because I think the pedals don't effect the sound as well as they should. In particular the more common far right sustain pedal is the most problematic. Something that is used more and more as you develop your skills. ... show more

  • Works great!
Color: Classic Gray Wood Grain
I got this for my daughter to practice on as she learns to play. She has lessons once a week, but I want her to be able to play at home as well. The keyboard was fairly easy to assemble, and to my untrained ears sounds perfect. I've even taken to learning a couple of songs by watching Youtube (Chopsticks FTW). It has some additional functions that neither my daughter or myself as ready for, such as a metronome, added beat, and changing the sounds of the keys. Maybe my daughter will begin using those features as she gets better at playing. Looking at the prices of other similar keyboards, I'd say this one is right in the middle. With that in mind, the quality seems good for the price. ... show more

  • Solid starter piano
Color: Classic Gray Wood Grain
This is a pretty good starter piano. I like that it comes with pedals, and two headphone jacks so I can teach my daughter without making a lot of noise. The speakers aren't incredible, but that shouldn't be surprising. Overall really good, no regrets.

  • A perfect keyboard- no bench
Color: Classic Gray Wood Grain
I don’t know why I didn’t realize that the keyboard didn’t come with a bench. But other than that, this is the perfect keyboard! It’s modern and sleek looking, very easy to assemble (basically just screw on the legs) and was up in less than 10 minutes. The sound is nice for a keyboard, and it seems to have lots of features to play around with. The instructions are detailed and easy to read, and it gives links/directions to get music support as well. I think this is a great purchase for anyone needing a nice keyboard to practice piano skills. Would easily recommend! ... show more
