This is my 2nd set. The first cover lasted about 3 years then the top cover began to crack and chip. But for this price, I wasn’t upset about it. So when the cracks were getting annoying, I ordered the exact same set in a different color. This is a nice way to keep our MacBook safe from the occasional bump. I bought this case for travel after reading dozens of reviews. I needed one that fits my MacBook Air 2020 A2179. There were mixed reviews on here for whether or not this case would work, so I bought it and took my chances. It arrived with all the pieces, including two different keyboard overlays. The overlay that worked for my keyboard was fine, though it took days of usage to get it to lay flat. The case itself was more challenging. The bottom fit well. The top shell fit every corner except for one, but it held on well enough. After my trip, I decided to try getting the top shell on all four corners. With a bit of pressure, I did, and it seemed fine. I left it overnight and the next morning the corner I'd pushed down was cracked. The case is still on and will seemingly do its job just fine. Just annoyed that no cases fit well. I got this case in Frost Purple and it's sheer enough to see the logo and is a beautiful color. ... show more

I loved my first one even tho over time it cracked on the corners and got used. But that didn't bother me. The lavender what a beautiful color that matched the MacBook perfectly. This time i wanted a pink to make it softer. I love this product!

I thought that I would give this case a try, since it was on the cheaper side and came with a screen protector and keyboard cover. The case was very easy to install which was nice, and it has a very snug fit on my Macbook air. Ive had this case for a short time now and it seems to pick up finger prints and smudges very easily. The keyboard cover is nice, but the buttons on the top row don't match up with all the keys. I cant say much on the durability since I have not dropped it yet. Over all the case isn't bad, but there might be better options out there. ... show more

I've purchased various affordable hardshell cases like this for my Macbooks over the years and I thought they were all pretty much the same--not the best quality, but they've always done the job of protecting my laptop. The rubber bits on the bottom eventually come off, the plastic shows finger prints that don't quite wipe off anymore, and when the corners crack and are sharp, I'm not even disappointed because I'm usually ready for a new color by then. That's the expectation. This product looked like it was going to be similar. I ordered the avocado green and it's a beautiful color, exactly like the photo. The plastic has that almost soft feel on the outside, but it's definitely a hard shell. My issue with it is that it simply does not fit my new 2020 13" Macbook Air. Some of the reviews mention that it did work for them, but the quality is likely inconsistent. I managed to sort of snap the top part of the case on, but not really. The base of it snapped on with much difficulty. They're usually a little tricky and need some force, but this one scratched the corners of my laptop! The top corners don't latch on at all so it just flops around at the top. I couldn't get the bottom part of the case on at all and I didn't want to force it after how the top went. Should you choose to purchase this case for this laptop model anyway, be extra careful! Apparently, this is an issue that others with the new Macbook Air have been dealing with. I'm not sure what about it makes it difficult to create a proper case for, but it's frustrating. People have been suggesting skins instead, which I think I'll be trying instead. This also comes with an adhesive screen protector. If you're wondering if it's one of those matte or anti-glare ones, it's not, and I prefer these basic clear ones because you can still see the screen vibrantly through it. However, mine came with a dip in one spot. I tried to place it on anyway to see if it would rub out, but it didn't. FYI, it also doesn't come with any guides or instructions on how to align it or any tools to help, but you can just tape it into position at the top before removing the adhesive protector. Even though I was able to align it properly, there were a ton of bubbles (from the dip and elsewhere) that didn't rub out. Sometimes they kind of settle eventually, but these did not. I'm pretty sure this only advertised coming with one keyboard protector, but mine actually came with two (one that matches the case, one in a brighter green). I thought that was a pleasant surprise, but actually, they don't even stay on. Mine is always riding up in the middle and shifting around. These things tend to do that after a while of use because they get stretched out or the bottom loses its grip, but this one has given me issues from the start. All of these products are disappointing, but I probably would have kept it anyway if the case just fit. I'm also mainly annoyed that it scratched up my new laptop, because you can't fix that with an Amazon return. ... show more
