Size: 20V Brushless Drill Driver
This DongCheng wireless battery powered drill bit driver is an excellent power tool. The DongCheng will precisely turn a variety of accessories, from the customary drill bits to an assortment of screw head types. There is in this great assorted a flexible shasft dirver for places that would be impossible to reach with an inflexible screwdriver. The drill is exceedingly well made. From the moment I fitted the battery pack to the drill I knew by the way it fit so precisely and positively that this was a quality item. The same action of precision was observed when I fit the battery pack to the power AC adapter that assured that my testing would be done with a fully charged battery pack. The quality is such that I almost felt bad that I did not have a project on which I could try out the drills talents and performance. Then I thought about a loose bar in my shower. After finding an appropriate driver for a Phillips head screw I proceeded to the shower. The application of the screwdriver attachement to head of each loose screw was positive and the variable speed congtroled by the trigger was a plus. Better to just slowly torque those screws back in. They had worked loose so it would be easy to strip them from the weak host to which they were attached. It was actually a fun task. There is something about having a good tool for the job and letting it perform for you that reaps a great deal of personal satisfaction. This drill is no exception. All of the features are outstanding. I shall list a few that are noteworthy and those that most men and women appreciate in this type of power tool. Keyless chuck - Easy Reversing action switch - (Simple and easy finger and thumb actuation from clockwise, to lock, to counterclockwise rotation of the chuck) Trigger pull decides variable speed action. - A great arsenal of accessories, from screwdriver bits to customary drill bits. _ Perfectly balanced - Good instructions, be sure to read them. I needed a good corless electric drill, so reviewing this item was not only beneficial to me but was also richly rewarding because this is a fine power tool. It will find a home in my tool box for what I hope will be many years to come. I will include some images with this review very soon. I want to show the precision fit of the power bank to the drill handle and also to the charging supply. I can easily reccomend this drill because it exhibits precise workmanship. It’s not your top of the line hammer drill. If your a DIYer or need a tool you lend to your neighbors, then this is perfect. Professionals should pass on this one; this is the drill for the common folks. If you’re like me, I need a hammer drill once every blue moon. It’s a tool you need it for a very specific reason. For me, I needed to drill one hole into a concrete slab. This has no issue for those infrequent projects. But I can see how a heavy user would be not satisfied with it. Right out of the box this tool is impressive. It feels solid and has an excellent handle for secure working. It runs smoothly with a variable speed. I had to try it out in comparison to a 30 year old 1/2" drill I've been working with on a wood project. This drill did the work nicely and I'm happy with it. I noticed that while it has a smooth speed variation from the trigger control, this drill loses some of it's speed when the effort of work is increased. The older drill motor I've been using hardly slows at all when the work effort is applied. Maybe that's a difference in the electronics of the speed control? Overall this drill seems rugged and powerful enough for most of what I might need it to do. ... show more

I'm not sure what to think of this thing. I would normally expect very little out of what appears to be a cheap chinese product, however it's as expensive as some of the more well known brands. I haven't had the chance to put it through too much, but it seems fine so far. Puts in screws in just fine, and seems to have a decent bit of power. It's quite small compared to a lot of drills I've used. As a whole I'm really not sure about this thing. As a said at this price point I would probably aim for a brand I actually know instead. Having used DC tools in the past, I am consistently pleased with the quality of the actual tools I receive. The tool along with it's tool bag (the tool bag is SUPER heavy duty) is well worth the price. I would have no problem comparing DC tools with brands like Dewalt and they are a CLEAR step above the "house brands" of big box hardware stores (IE Rigid). This drill is composed of really heavy duty plastic. I really believe it could sustain a 25 to 30 foot fall. Controls are big , bright and easy to manipulate without being too stiff. The accompanying tools (hammer, drill bits, driver bits, etc...) are O.K. quality. Certainly a step below the actual drill. And who cares? They are basically free gifts at this price point. The plastic covered flexible extension probably won't hold up to heavy use and the battery charger is a bit flimsy, but overall the TOOL is what matters. And this tool performs perfectly. My advice to DC: Forget the so-so quality hammer and pliers and drill bits and levels and wrench and instead have a more robust charging station. THAT would make this a STEAL. Four stars for the drill. Deduct a star for the accompanying tools which actually are unnecessary and might make someone question the durability of the drill based on the quality of the tools. ... show more
