The instructions on the package only apply to large in-ground gardens (ratios of 100 square feet), so if you’re growing tomato plants in pots, you have to do some guess work. I mixed 1 tablespoon of this product with warm water in a 1-quart jar, shook it up vigorously and then poured it into the soil around the plant. I followed that with more water to help it move further down into the soil. I removed all of the tomatoes that already had blossom end rot so that I would be able to recognize any newly developed rot. It’s been about a month now and there has been none. It pretty much saved my tomatoes and bellpeppers this year. I had blossom end on the first tomato and first bellpepper I picked up. I'm happy I found this product. I used it next day and no blossom end on my veggies anymore.
