Months ago, my grandson let me know that he wanted a remote control car for his birthday. I got this then, and have held it until his birthday last week. He loves it. It takes a lot of batteries in both the car and the remote, which are not supplied, so we had to go out and buy batteries before he could use it. The cars look great and work really well. The kids love them. Only thing is i can not run two at the same time with out interference between the remote controls.

This is an OK little toy that isn't too spendy. I would note that the one that I received came packaged in a plastic shipping bag that provided no real protection to the item that was being shipped. It would be nice if the A to Z store put more thought into protective shipping and packaging for things like this even if this isn't that spendy. Thankfully it did survive the shipping process and arrived in one piece, ready to take from the package and give a try. From there it was a simple process of installing batteries and then give it a spin around the floor. It zips along nicely and offers entertainment for youngsters who can chase after it or enjoy controlling it and zooming it along for themselves. If I could, I'd probably settle around the 3.5 or so star level for this item but I've rounded up to the 4 star level for this item. ... show more

    • Fast little car!
I was shocked by the speed of this car, quick response on the turns. There is a smoke feature I didn’t know about until opening the box, you add water and it looks like there is smoke coming out of the exhaust, my son loved that so much! I gave this to him for his 4th birthday and I think it’s perfect for his age! It doesn’t drive well on carpet or bumpy surfaces so best to bring it outside on the pavement and watch it zoom! The remote range I think could be better on it but regardless the giggles and fun my son has had since he opened it makes it all totally perfect! It’s a great gift, 5 AA batteries required for the remote and the car, they are not included. ... show more
