I was a bit concerned about this one as I couldn't quite tell if there would be sharp edges around the frame but I was nicely surprised by the smooth rounded finish. Overall it took about 25 minutes to assemble, which was very easy with clear instructions. We did some much needed organizing and placed all of my Granddaughter's favorite toys in totes that fit perfectly underneath the bed and are now easily accessible to her when she wants to get them out. This upgraded bed frame is amazing. Firstly, price is affordable, and it's almost half price of old bed frames. Second, it doesn't need a spring box at all, so easy to set up. Third, it has a big storage area under, which I can store my extra stuff under this frame.

I got this frame for an extra long twin mattress for the office, something small out of the way but will come in handy when family is in town. It does have a bunch of parts to put together, if you can’t do IKEA stuff this might not be for you. I think I did a good job and it seems really sturdy. The mattress fits fully on it with no overhang. The hight makes it perfect to store some bins under with pillows and blankets because my linen cabinet is small.
