Maybe I'm using this brush wrong, but it hurts my dog. I stopped using it. The brush has a little rolling ball designed to "move with your dogs curvature" kind of like a women's razor, but I always held it closer to the top so the ball impeded me.

Love this dog brush! I have three dogs all with different types of hair and it works with all three of them. The side with pins helps to get tangles out and the bristles lay everything in place. I use this after the dogs take a bath and it works super well to keep their hair looking nice once it dries. Also, I discovered by surprise that it's bendy. Not really sue what the use of that is for, but it's kinda cool :) ... show more

    • My cat loves Doggiez!
Upon receiving the Doggiez slicker brush, I immediately tested it on my cat and she thoroughly enjoyed our grooming sesh to the point she wouldn't leave me alone. I've tested and reviewed other Doggiez products and had the same result. My cat has not enjoyed a groom as much as she has with Doggiez. The slicker brush is gentle and won't hurt you or your pet plus the head of the brush is flexible. The handle is easy to grip and is quite comfortable to hold. Overall this seems like a quality product. As of this review (12/21/2022) the Doggiez slicker brush is priced at $8.99 and that is priced very competitively. This brush has a soft side and one with metal bristles. Both sides are actually pretty soft. The metal one helps detangle animal hair easier.

I got this to brush my mini long haired dachshund. So far, he just likes to chew on it. My Chihuahua / Dachshund mix however LOVES it. I brush under her chin and chest and her eyes literally roll back in ecstacy. She definitely recommends!

My Yorkshire gets a combo of oily hair and knotted, ratty hair and this brush is the nicest thing she has gotten lately. I thought at first the handle was loose, but soon realized it helps it in bending for the brushing of pet. The wire side is what she is loving on her back closer to her tail, it helps with the dead skin cells and then I go wash her in tub, it also gets some of the 'rats nest' tangles then I trim rest. The soft bristles are wonderful for her top knot area and legs. We are very happy with this brush and the grip of the handle fits my hand very well. ... show more
