  • Works great if the charger would last
Pattern Name: 1 Collar
The media could not be loaded. Update 06/28/24 Emailed the manufacturer and they sent me a brand new collar for free and it arrived this morning! I would recommend this 100% and their customer service was fantastic. Literally thought this was the best rechargeable dog collar; easy to use, reliable, long lasting battery, multiple setting options and great remote with lock to avoid accidentally buzzing/shocking my dog. However, we have just now had it for a year, it has never been wet or in water, my dog wears it to go outside to potty (we do not have a fenced yard) and then it gets taken off when she comes in. Probly used max 10 min a day, and definitely not every day. The last two months the collar no longer charges. It will light up and look like it’s charging, but after about an hour it shows to be fully charged. When I take it off and turn it on, im lucky to have 1 bar of battery life. Put it back on the charger and the cycle repeats, never reaching a full charge. Really disappointed as there is no alternative charging port to try and charge the collar. Because of this I can’t tell if the charging ports are bad or the battery has gone bad. Either way, that’s a poor performance in battery life and longevity; especially with the little wear and tear this collar got. ... show more

  • Love the Collar and the customer service is excellent!!
Pattern Name: Black 1 Pack
First things first, Be very careful when purchasing anything for your dog. This is the second time I received a USED product when I paid for a new one! The collar I got wasn’t in a sealed package, the collar smelled like a wet dog dipped in soup!! With that being said I promptly returned that collar and they sent a new one the next day! I also email the Delupet company and told them what happened and also told them that the Delupet dog training collar I bought 11 months ago started acting up after 9 months. They got right back to me a few hours later and apologized and explained that Amazon does that without their knowledge and they aren’t supposed to. They are also sending me a brand new collar to replace the broken one! I didn’t ask for a new collar but they are sending one anyway. So the customer service is fantastic. These days that’s one reason I will do business with certain companies. Now onto the DT-68 Collar. I love this thing. I have a Very very hyper Golden Retriever and also have a little granddaughter. The Golden doesn’t realize how big she is and I don’t want her to accidentally harm the child. Plus the dog was eating everything in the back yard she could fit into her mouth! I watched a few YouTube videos from reputable dog trainers and learned what NOT to do while training my dog with this collar. It worked like a charm and only took a few times of getting buzzed to stop eating stuff completely! Also she stopped jumping up on people and is now very gentle around the baby! It took one day for her to curve the behavior. She is still her goofy bubbly self and it hasn’t changed her personality or affection for people one bit!! If used correctly these things work. 👍🏼 I highly recommend this brand and model. All the features are adjustable, except the volume of the beep. The backlit screen makes it easy to use outside at night. The remote comes with a lanyard for your wrist. The range is way more than I need but it’s nice to have just in case. This model comes with two different size prongs and also comes with rubber caps for prongs if you don’t want to use shock feature. I’m very happy with this collar! ... show more

  • Already seeing a difference
Pattern Name: 1 Collar
For reference, I have a Catahoula leopard dog (think slightly smaller lab-type dog) who weighs approximately 63 lbs. Her hair is short to medium length around her neck. I kept the smaller prongs the collar came pre-installed with. ++I bought this collar specifically for the vibrate and sound features. I think zapping is a little cruel to use for every single correction. So far, just using the vibrate and sound, I have been able to correct my rescue dog's nuisance barking, jumping, and lack of focus when issuing commands (sit, lie down, etc.). The vibrate is strong enough to redirect her even when she is honed in on a squirrel! -That said, because her previous owners did not train her at all, my dog exhibits confusion initially after issuing the correction, and doesn't seem to connect the correction to her bad behavior. I also don't think she recognizes it's "me" buzzing her. She actually tries to run from the collar when it's vibrating and sounding and won't fully re-focus without coaching. So whether intentionally or otherwise, I believe this collar will be used strictly as a "stop what you're doing" device only rather than to reinforce information she's already learned. +I loved the testing probe included in the box. It allowed us to test function without having to shock ourselves or the dog; however, we still used it on ourselves... see below... +/-My husband and I tested the shock settings on ourselves, and I must say, even level 1 packs a pretty serious punch, at least to us! I know I'll have to use it eventually, as my dog has shown signs of aggression towards passers-by when on a leash, but I'm definitely saving this feature for a last resort situation. +I'm pleased with the quality of the device, its many features, and the convenient size of the remote (large enough I won't lose it, small enough to tie to a leash or put in my pocket). +I have not yet been able to test water resistance or battery life, but the item did arrive fully charged and seems to be going strong on day 2! -One potentially negative point of feedback is there is no guidance in the box on which shock levels are appropriate for dogs of various weight brackets. To be safe, I'm starting on the lowest setting and will work up if my dog is not responsive. +/- A mixed point of feedback is I'm really not sure how the "lock" feature is anything special. The device is fully operational when in the "on" position, and no buttons can be pressed at all when it's in the "off/locked" position -- this seems like a pretty straightforward, typical feature, but I don't have enough experience with other collar brands to know for sure. -The collar's band is not very sturdy feeling and it loosens very easily because of how slippery the nylon material is. I know this isn't critical as it's not intended to restrain a dog, however, I do think it's important to note for anyone who has a stubborn or strong dog - they will likely be able to loosen this and remove/destroy it with enough time on their "hands". ... show more
